See a bit of problem will be there, but then if u are interested in teaching and research there is no problem with u have a good project profile but placement they may ask u but if ur communication skill is good and u have proper justification then it won't be any problem

I suggest, korte paro...bhalo rank ele bhebe dekhte paro..but JU er mtech take helaphela koro na... atleast ekta job to pabe ekhan theke. Since u didn't do any work before ...securing a job should be first priority. Age gap generally matter korena...tobe ami 4+ years gap(with out work experience )kono example dekhini

I have scored cut-off higher then listed by IIsc but i haven't rcvd my interview call letter. I mailed them but till now I am not getting any update! Please can you suggest me what to do??????

Brother i am 2023 pass out. I have given gate 2023 but didn't qualify. Now preparing for gate 2024 but due to some health issue and college semester exam my preparation is not up to the mark i have completed just 3 subjects by the end of this year i can complete only 5 subjects out of 10 subject. I am looking for gate 2025 will it be any issue for my mtech placement? Please reply brother it will be helpful for me..

Hello brother, i completed my diploma in mechanical engineering in 2023 and i got 58 rank in cet exam for engineering admission. I joined in computer science engineering branch instead of mechanical engineering due to lack of guidance and i completed one semester with 8.14 cgpa , now in 2024, i want to write cet again to join btech in mechanical engineering because i feeling uncomfortable with that branch. Does this one year gap really effect my btech placements in mechanical engineering field

No it wont be considered as technical experience. But anyway, if you join Mtech this year, this wont be a problem. Once you will come out of mtech, your knowledge of mtech will be tested, not the prior experience.

Hello sir, i have 1 year gap between my 11th and 12th due to illness and then 1 more year gap after 12th bcz of jee prep. Considering no more gaps are taken for gate and in btech, is this a problematic situation for PSU interview. Please help me out as no one is making content regarding drops before btech. Help!!

I dont think it will be problem for PSUs or Placement in Mtech. Dont worry of that. Even you can take a break of a yr for Gate also. PSUs generally dont look much into 11th/12th. Even if they ask you, you have valid reason. So no worry.

@@kishalaydas but sir i know most of the companies allow 2 yrs gap for placements but if i take 1 yr drop after my btech and then get selected for gate with good rank , it means i will have a 3 yr drop, 2yrs for jee after my 12th and 1 yr after my btech, so how will i be able to sit for the companies as no company allow 3 yrs gap...and sir i am very much confused that how do they calculate gap year...is it counted between 12th and b tech or between btech or mtech is also counted?????? very confused...i would be extremely grateful if u give me a brief answer or make a video for that.........waiting for ur reply sir.......

What about if someone does crack gate with a good rank in 4-5 years? Will that create a problem in the MTech placements? Because I really don't think, it's fair to assume that you're incompetent (that something is wrong with your basics) that you aren't able to crack the exam with flying colors. There could be many possible reasons. May be someone is having health issues, family issues, financial problems, or may be someone wants to take a switch in their career, all these things will consume time, but we can't be conclusive that they were not capable.

Ohh barcelona fan I like it, bhaiyan is studying at iisc or iit is tough in terms of mtech, I don't have a good coding skills it's 1/10 but I have interest in AI. Is this coding factor gonna affect my placement or my studies in mtech at iisc or iit.

Yes coding skill is needed for mtech in iisc or iits, but yes i have seen people joining these institute without much coding expertise but they learn there and do well.

Hello brother. I wrote GATE 24 and I have a pretty good chance to get into old IITs . I’m a 2022 civil pass out . But I still have mixed feelings about going for MTech as I really want to join a PSU . If at all I decide to drop another year , will it affect my placement at the time ?

Hi sir, like I said in my previous comment, I’m a 2022 pass out. I qualified gate this year and might get into old IITs (score 609). But I have doubt regarding this as I wish to work in a PSU someday. I wish to give one last chance for GATE 2025 , but I was wondering if it will affect my placement if I decide to go for MTech next year ( since getting into PSU is a long shot ) .

I completed my engineering in 5 months will it affect my mtech placements?

Hi, Now I have almost 8+years experience in Embedded Hardware field and I am in Lead Engineer position at good aerospace company with 12.5L package. I am planing to prepare and write GATE exam in 2023.(To join in IISc -MTech full time ). Behind the planing followings are the reasons. 1)it’s my dream to study in IIsc.(MTech). 2)Always having the feeling that’s I have less technical knowledge Compare with IIT/IISc/NIT studied colleague. 3)My salary package increasing very slow. 4)Not doing much design work.The years is increasing but not my tech knowledge/Package. 1)Do you think Preparing GATE and studying in IISc full time will be right decision? Note :Now I am 31 .just I am married year back. 2)If that’s happening ,How will be my future ?

1/2/3 is very much valid reason to go for mtech at IISc or IITs. Yes you can prepare for Gate and if you can crack it next yr you can join. Your experience wont create any problem in placement i blv. But yes you have to do Mtech full time, there is no other way i think. In that case how will you balance both study and your family, that you have to manage. I know its a bit tricky, but that you need discuss with your family. But in terms iof knowledge, placement and package IISc or any top IITs will be good choice to join Mtech at the age of 31/32
