    If they remove the timer in Hologram then that's fckin good content. imagine the low level challenge runs.

    I think it's not right to valuate end game mode as just difficulty test. They're more like post game content, something you can do after finishing the main content. And when we see all three as package, they tick all boxes of post game content. Illusive Realm offer replayability and power fantasy similar to New Game+. The rest is skill and damage check similar to Boss Rush.

    That works for a regular, one time purchase game that you can pick up and put down whenever you want and has a definite end to complete. But it doesn't work for a live service game that expects you to keep playing and punishes you for not playing. We have a perfect example in Genshin where the Spiral Abyss does not work as a long term end game mode.

    @@ActiasLun Isn't finishing the story and exploration equal to a definitive end in those regular games? It's just that we get new content as new patches come out, resetting the cycle.

    @@ActiasLun I think that the difference is that Kuro seems to be actively adding more things to do within these modes, which is all we really wanted in an endgame. The reason why Spiral Abyss doesn't work for us players as a long term end game mode is because there is no new innovation added to it, they just rotate out buffs and enemies inside it with no new system mechanics within it. It's been largely the exact same since launch, with NO other alternative permanent game modes to even do to kill time, even without rewards. With the news that 1.1 seems to be bringing a new hologram and updates to the Illusive Realm, I think that we can expect there to be more updates to endgame content in the future, which is great news for people looking for fresh things to do every patch. We can see this in action in HSR, where the developers actively add more things to do within the game permanently, which is why nobody complains about THAT game's endgame. Even if it's not particularly challenging, all that matters is that the players see the developers' interest in adding activities for the active playerbase to enjoy with each update.

    @@ActiasLun End game is usually only associated with live service games/mmos though? Can’t think of any games that aren’t in those two categories that have an “endgame”

    I have no idea why people want repeatable content they call endgame. I hate spiral abyss in Genshin because i HAVE to play it for primogems. This is, pretty much the only thing i dislike in Genshin. I hate Adversity tower the same. And after i finished the door realm i was shocked to discover they will make this crap permanent. Why not to demand unique content? Why people want same damn repeatable dungeons. And yes, of course.. game which have more repeatable dungeons is a better game no doubt.

    well, after i did whatever i could, i can say its the same game with differences in graphic and fight system. for the rest is basically identical. And even tho they have been MUCH MORE generous than Genshin even could can and ever will be, we have the same identical problems regarding end game AND "artifacts" on genshin you have the "i cannot find them" problem.. here, its "i cannot level them up" problem, even if i do find them. I'm waiting the 1.1 , to see if they really lower the exp needed to lvl25 echoes, to see if its actually doable. Because for casual players, sure its ok.. but if you want to roll good stats, its almost impossible with the item the game give you and the stamina cost for farming them. that said, i enjoyed this game as much as i did with Genshin and i will keep playing it, because at the end.. im afraid games will be like this for a looong time, and we better get used to it.

    Also, skill has nothing to do with clearing the hard content.. not for now at least, because its time gated.. you can be god at playing but if you don't to enough damage because "not a huge amount of money spent" you're not gonna clear it regardless.. and whoever said they can , they either lie, OR they wasted so much time on it, that any normal person with a job could never.

    The real end game is echo substat re-rolling. Making a fusion set focused on basic attack or heavy attack or liberation dmg etc etc.

    It's the same shit as any other gacha and its only virtue is that the combat system in WuWa has more room for skill expression. Well that, and the fact that the "Abyss" in WuWa is more flexible in team requirements. You want actual endgame you play MMOs or diabloids like Path of Exile. Unlike most live services that don't have much if any timegating, gachas are more like one off games with bunch of DLCs, one major difference being the fact they "encourage" you to stick around and do menial tasks even when there's no real content.

    And man.. just o say , but holograms are the same as abyss.. what do i mean.. the lvl 6, already do "shot damage" adding another level its not gonna make the boss any more difficult. Same for adding new pattern or skill to the bosses, the same people will just keep trying until they can dodge/block them , and beat them again, if they have the dps check of course. probably they should add "raid type" holograms , that you can only beat in team play or that they can only be damaged when player attack together or things like this, because otherwise its not gonna change a single thing, specially for whales, they will erase everything. Think about it, they are lvl 70, and they can kill lvl 100 mobs -.- imagine when they will be 100 or 90 no idea how much will max lvl be. they will do much more damage , so "stronger enemies will not cut it" , same as genshin.

    you know what worse? Wuwa has no other dmg mechanic which made the character easier to being power-crept just like any other hack n slash game like honkai. Genshin genius reaction-based combat mechanic help ease this problem by providing another form of dmg other than the traditional one.

    genshin is genius tho. ayaka from 30% usage rate in abyss to 4.7% so genius combat. we are genshin shillers

    yeah and eula s0 fell off hard as soon as geo wolf boss dropped,beyond that patch phy suffered too much to the point eula struggles due to what?they create problem sell solution if u see the trend there....the skill requires toplay genshin not even close to game like wuwa but stats and reaction making some characters really shit at doing their stuff.

    @@ariusxander2684 But it is pretty obvious that characters in Wuwa lack synergy with each other, when there is a mode where you can use only 1 character (illusive realm) soloing the entire thing, you know there is lake of synergy between characters. Which will lead to massive powercrept. Like what does the element even do except making it hell to farm echoes

    @@lucidare if i am a genshin shiller then you probably a moron. Usage rate does not fully reflecting one character power at all lmao 😂. Usage largely effected by trend, not actual power, new character came out -> hype -> high usage rate, old character become boring -> no hype -> less usage, only few exception is OP char like neuv, nahida,.. that can withstand this cycle. Lets take barbara for example, obsolute char from 1.0, extremly low usage rate, but guess what? Slap in dendro char, dont even have to be nahida, and you get yourself a bloom/hyperbloom team that can full star abyss easily (except when they purposely put high dendro res enemies in, which is not often though) thanks to reaction. And in your case, ayaka usage rate drop not because she cant beat abyss anymore, it is because people grew bored of her. You can still use her to clear this abyss cycle if you want. And what about wuwa? If in the future they decided to put higher HP enemies as a challenge for new gen char, good luck using 1.0 char to beat them lol, your atk scaling is fixed, there is no way to increase it once is capped, and there is no reaction as a workaround or additional support dmg

    @@ariusxander2684 the whole point i trying to make is reaction-based combat help lessen power-crept a lot, so obviously phys and geo, 2 element that dont benefit much from reaction, suffered more from it. I dont see what your "create problem sell solution" for eula mean, as her const does not improve her reaction ability, it is just her pure dmg scaling WHICH is exactly the point im trying to make with wuwa. In wuwa, once you maxed your skill, your dmg scaling capped, there is no reaction to help keep your char relevant in the future where enemies just basically have more HP. I said nothing about which game require more skills so your last part is irrelevant

    the one thing that i liked in the tower compared to the spiral abyss is that the stamina system of 12 , so you can choose to have either your 2 teams go all the way or have your weaker characters clear the bottom floors and the stronger characters beat the last floor in both towers. This made the team building even more fun for some reasons , although it was frustrating sometimes too. For Hologram , to make it repeatable, just add rewards in it, like weekly bosses, give more rewards in compared to regular weekly for resin, so that people challenge it every week.

    It's literally the same as spiral abyss, but with more boring enemies and design. Holograms I do not count as endgame, because they are just one time clear rewards with very low rewards. They are basically just training dummies to f around with. The thing is this: It's a gacha game. They never have endgame modes, it fundamentally conflicts with the genre and the target audience. So, you're better off just getting this general idea of an "endgame" in a gacha game right out of your system.

The fact that its a one time thing screams CURRENT end game, the fact that they're adding to it screams CURRENT end game. the fact that they're adding endgame content? means that we'll have different end game stuff in the future. When we get stronger and clear all holograms, we'll get a different system and the holograms will just be part of the progression///

    @@fozzyalfonso lmao idk what you mean by end game but gacha games only have repeating instances that you do to encourage you to keep pushing forward. Hologram being a one time only reward makes it something not worth investing effort in the long run. Tower of adversity however is something that you build characters for because they promise renewable rewards every few week that help you build and obtain new characters.

    I'll be real, unlike Spiral Abyss which requires full c6 characters to be viable, 70% of a character's damage is frontloaded on the initial get of them

    Ok this is just wrong, I assume you only mean 4-star. Xingqiu, bennett, xiangling, fischl, sucrose, rosaria, DMC, chevereuse, beidou, yaoyao, gaming, kuki are all top tier at C0 if not eary cons like bennett C1, sucrose C1, beidou C2 which are huge powerspikes. And if you are saying"Oh but collei, barbara, lisa, amber are not that useful". Then wuwa also has chixia, aalto, yuanwu,taochi that are not viable. You can make a case for C4 xianging but Moretfil also really wants s4. And this is only 1.0 so it will defenitely get harder as character starts powercreeping. But i gotta say that Wuwa does a goodjob with the constellations, characters get progressively, equally stronger through constellations unlike genshin where most characters need big cons powerspike

    @@jmbrady1 So is Wuwa, to me, mortefi, danjin and sanhua are the only 4-stars that will be viable in the near future (Yes baizhi will fall off hard once another healer comes out, you can also cope with yangyang but she is mid at best), those 4 stars you also need to pull to get, so i don't get your point?

    Does genshin impact dodging and parry mechanics?, does g.i Have illusive realm?, does g.i. has hologram boss?, does g.i. character parkour?, admit it g.i. doesn't have that, they're both games in the dame genre, don't compare each other just play to have fun, ive played g.i. for four yrs, but im not a loyalist, they're both good games, thats it
