And forgive me for my Midwest American ignorance but your accent is so nice but I can’t place it. Totally get it if you don’t want to disclose haha as I’m rather private on socials but just curious and love different accents, particularly not American ones 😂. I love this album so much. It was so misunderstood and ahead of its time. It came out at a time where people drifted away from pop a bit and hip-hop and rap was dominating the charts and radios, so nobody really gave it a chance or tried to understand the purpose & background behind the album and what it tired to convey. People were expecting the regular bubble-gum katy perry they are used to but it turned out to be more experiemental (I blame her team for choosing misleading singles but I understand those are the radio friendly ones). My fav songs are witness, Mind Maze and roulette. Mind maze is such a masterpiece, the instrumental and the autotune perfectly sucks you in and places you in katy's mind state, the state of feeling lost, literally like if you are in a mind maze. The production of this album overall is top notch. every song's production perfectly conveys its message. Ik you said power was a bit all over the place but I think that was the point lol.

thanks for being so respectful and open-minded while listening this album even though people say a lot of bad things about it. (And I LOVE Mind Maze hahaha some of the best lyrics she's ever written)

You need to react to the deluxe songs!! They are also great, specially Dance With The Devil which is about her alcohol problems.

Witness is not only my fav Katy album. It’s one of my fav pop albums of all time…. 🩷🩷🩷

Witness is definitely Katy's best album, sure the singles after Chained to the Rhythm were weak but the musical production (i.e Power, Roulette, Deja Vu..) were next level.
