I used to work with premiere and after effects, it's really easier with those program to work together you just right click on a clip in premiere pro and send it to AE, then save and it adds the effect on your timeline in Premiere. I wish Apple Motion and FCP will work this way in the future!

This was my #1 miss from Adobe! How have I not heard of this. Love it! This is gonna save me so much time.

Back (way back) in FCP7 you used to be able to drop a motion source file directly into a FCP timeline and it would render from there. Those were the days! Apple needs to bring that feature back.

Oh, wow... it's great to know how to add outlines and track them in Motion! $99 to send a clip over to Motion though, and it can't send it back to FCPX? I guess I'm not an advanced enough user to understand the value in this plugin.

I think it's worth it as someone who uses Motion almost daily. But, it definitely is pricier than I might have expected! I do know they have some pretty good sales on FxFactory from time to time though, so it might be good to look out for one of those if you're interesting in this one. How many times I have wanted to just a small red box or have an idea “just draw on a line here” in the middle of a project to go not worth the time to start up motion, import etc. another reason now to invest more in motion. Thank you.

I have the Send Motion plugin, but I never tried it because I thought it might be too complicated to learn. Your presentation makes it so clear and simple, Bro. In the past I would take a bunch of time creating a new Motion project, and importing all the media, etc. I wish I had known how quick this makes it earlier...It would have saved so much time and mouse clicks!

I was actually going to ask you about this feature. Back in the day, you could have Motion open and FCP and if your Title or whatever you created in Motion was not exactly how you liked it, you could in real time, change it in Motion, FCP would reconnect to the new version and then you just re-render it. Loved that feature! Is that completely dead now? Is there a workaround for it? I guess the other option is marking your in and outs in FCP exported that to Motion and work in Motion until it perfect, would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Hi, do you have a tutorial to remove backgrnoud noise from mic? Im using premiere pro to remove background noise then import to final cut pro, i think final cut pro its not very good to remove background noise, i have shure sm7b mic.

Apple has always been the best at integration within their products. But very strange not when it comes to their pro apps? I still feel final cut is the best editing application but not the best for post production mainly because of this reason. People ask me what’s good about adobe I say dynamic link what’s good about final cut everything else. Even with all of final cuts limitations I find it still the best I’ll go through all the hoops not to deal with track based editing.

I created a 3D Room in Apple Motion but when I added the 3D camera to create a sweep animation the camera animation stutters and it is not one smooth movement. Is it a problem with the frame rate of the project or maybe I’m not using the correct render or motion blur settings? Any help would be appreciate.

Hey Joshua! I am curious, are you using the Camera Framing parameter? Or are you doing it with just keyframes?

@@TheFinalCutBro I used the sweep parameter. I always have a hard time panning videos or photos. I know 60 fps projects help but it always tends to stutter. Am I just panning to fast?

Agreed, definitely a little bit of a bummer. But in using it quite a bit, it actually still saves me a lot of time regardless of that factor.
