The bt16 magnamon x is also not actually a regular magnamon x in lore it a mode change a ultimate defense mode this mentioned in reference book entry and it known as gold digizoid mode

Which is why it can digivolve onto the old Magnamon X with the card text reading "2 color digimon with Magnamon in name"

Personally, I play with 1-2 Ukkomons as I found you can tech in Fire Rocket or more option cards, like blue memory boosts. I'm looking forward to next set and rocking the new Magnamon X.

Why is project d so hard to play? i joined a game and tried it out and had no idea what to do...I was revealing my security pile and trashing things I drew a ton of cards...my opp surrendered...so sad..

While Magnamon is an awesome card on its own and especially with the support later on , i think its gonna be a temporarly god-tier deck. Red/Yellow-decks will be more effective later on. Right now i try on a Ryze-/Wargreymon Deck and i see some really nasty possibilities .

There is no update for Gallant until BT17.
