If anyone is wondering the GEN5 17 slide will work on GEN5 19 frame the reason being is the 17 GEN5 barrel has the same locking lugs as the 19

might fit but wont cycle properly. might get the first round off thats about it…. wont tip the barrel down enough to cycle the next round, pivot point for locking block difference on a 17 barrel.

and it fires and cycles a whole mag? has some over travel and partially exposed striker channel at the back so debris can get in. idk why anyone would want that but whatever u like

If you have a gen 3 glock 19 frame and want to run a gen 3 glock 17 slide, you just need a gen 5 barrel.

19 x has a 17 grip length with 19 slide length. alot of people like em

Will the Glock 19 slide work with Glock 17 frame? I googled it and I found something that basically says I can do this. It also mentions that all Glock uppers are interchangeable between all Glock frames but your video indicates otherwise so now I’m unsure.

You have to remove the end plate and depress the trigger safety plunger and pull it out

remove the back plate and remove the slide internal parts, it will come off after that.
