I cannot believe the number of videos on this car where people criticize the back end of this spectacular car. I think it's a work of art.

I was always a fan of this car's design. People say its ugly, but I think it is classic styling that is far more attractive than all the cutouts in all the new Ferrari's.

I agree! It will age very well! Same as the 458 Italia also designed by Pininfarina.

I own a Porsche GT2 RS , Ferrari 458 and a 2014 Ferrari California, the California is still my favorite, it drives like a dream, super fast and so beautiful! Great video!

I am looking to buy a 458, California or rolls Royce. Peoples negative reviews on the California make it seem like it’s not smooth or it’s not nice, also can kids sit in the back?

Excellent video. Completely agree the California doesn’t get as much love as it should! It’s a brilliant car.

Last of the Normally Aspirated V8 Ferrari. It will be worth some bucks!

Yours is one of the few videos. Where I look at the time. See 30 minutes and think oh man this is going to be good. Much better than other channels where you look and see the time and keep on scrolling. It’s the teacher in you Joe. I know I’ll learn some great stuff.

Beautiful car. The top is the same design as my 2016 BMW Z4, and operates the same way. They should have kept that design on the new Z4. Best of both worlds.

Joe you need to get some unusual, unheard of, antique, legendary card I'm there.. somewhere... anywhere.

Great episode, my two great loves cars and guns, well besides animals and girls ;). I had seen reviews on the Ferrari California and other than their reasonable used price I was kind of ehhh whatever, but after this review I have a totally different opinion because of two things, first I never saw the top up before, the lines are gorgeous on this car and you can only truly appreciate it with the top up, second, although I love Ferrari looks, I always preferred the deep rumble of a Maserati, I have a GT, to the screech of the Ferrari but whatever he did to modify the exhaust is awesome on that car.

The very things that make the California reviled amongst the Ferrari purest, are exactly what attracts me to this car in the first place.

The new car reviews are great but these are my favorite.

Wow!! Awesome car and presentation, Joe. Adam seems like a really cool dude to let you drive his Ferrari! I wish I could afford one. I'm wondering if Adam is in law enforcement, with all those firearms he had for you to shoot. Back to the car, I love those convertible hard tops, the best of both worlds. My pocket book though, tells me I can only afford a Mazda hard top converible. Thanks Joe, keep em' comin'!

You know what Joe? On this video, you have absolutely out done yourself. I was very intrigued with this video, and was very glad to see you mix high caliber sports cars, and sidearms in one video. Growing up, I was a formula 1 fan when I was a kid, and it was nice to hear you mention the recently past away Niki Lauda, who past away on May 20th. I was so enthralled with this video, it was a shame that it ended so soon. You could have stretched this one video out for an hour, and I would have enjoyed every minute of it, more high caliber sports cars, and sidearms in your videos brother. Job well done!

I wouldn't mind him doing an episode where he just drives the car for longer and gives more input since he'd have more time to dissect it's driving characteristics. Top up, top down, better camera angles, POV, 3rd person, drive-by's, etc.

Geeze Louise Joe, every time I think the dust has settled in my stable, you stir it up. I finally got to see the review on this remarkable Ferrari. I have to say everything on this car is special and that front engine will leave anyone speechless. That reving of the engine while sitting at the light could also make the haters hate more lol. Great review once again 👍👍

There is more to Ferrari's prancing horse - it was for good luck after he met the parents of the fallen pilot (Francesco Barracca) who told Enzo that it would bring good luck. Also, yellow is the colour of Enzo's hometown, Modena.

A buddy of mine did a 36hr paint correction topped with 5 layers of ceramic. I don't own this car anymore but I still miss it!

What's the maintenance cost a year or two for this California could be ? Is it affordable?

A very few of these were optioned with a 5 speed, IMO like ALL Ferrari's should be.

To put it in perspective: Ford Focus sold 1.1 million worldwide last year (Forbes). Ferrari California for the last 10 years, sold 1,700 per year. It’s truly a handbuilt exotic. BTW, Maserati GranTurismo it’s grand touring, less expensive cousin, until recently was selling roughly, 100 fewer less, per year.

Sz101 Dancestudio only 3 California’s were ordered with a manual transmission in 2009 before they were discontinued completely. Those 3 cars trade for over 1MIL USD now.
