Does SPLAT HAIR CHALK Work On Dark Hair?!
I have another "Does It Work On Dark Hair?" video! I saw these Splat Hair chalks when I was shopping at Ulta and had to try them for ya'lls!! I have tried the Splat hair dye before which definitely an experience lol but I was super intrigued by their hair chalk! Hair chalk has done well with showing up in my hair in past videos but usually rubs off or leaves a weird texture. That's what I was most interested in seeing in this product! I like trying the different types of hair chalk in my dark brown almost black hair because without using bleach that's been the best at showing up as a vivid color! I hope you like this review and demo and seeing if Splat Hair Chalk works on dark hair!

WASH OUT UPDATE: It washed pretty good when I used shampoo DIRECTLY on the strands I had the hair chalk in. As with other hair chalks before, simply shampooing my hair as normal doesn't take out the chalk and will leave the residue there. It will feel dry and tangly if you don't use enough shampoo. I put shampoo directly on the strands and lathered, rinsed etc about 3 times per strand. It didn't dye my tub and my hair felt fine afterwards.

Please try Pravana Vivids! It seems to work on dark hair from what people say online. It's a bit pricey though since it's professional quality.

If you want one that really shows, I would recommend the Splat Pink Hearts chalk. It totally showed up in my hair.
Thank you I have been eying those dyes and now I know how they would show in my hair . Like seriously, xD every time I see dye boxes at Walmart I am like time to have a new color . Indeed and I always turn to splat cuz it shows up even bleaching is kind of off tho but the dye after wards is like a fire truck in my dark brown hair.-. If u know what I mean . Manic panic I would love to see an updated vid on it. Might get that dye and use on my hair soon.
My mama says that about price tags too!

Hey Theresa....(I'm ALSO Teresa...without the H tho' ;) ) But...I thought I'd say to maybe just loosely and barely....wipe your hair with a static sheet for a dryer--first. That's what I would personally try, if I were to be having that much of a static problem!) Thanks for a really nice video! Happy You-Tube-in!

Have you ever tried Overtone? I want to try the Rose-Gold for brown hair but I am totally second guessing it because, like you, I have very dark drown hair.

So can adults use hair chalk? I looked on Amazon but all they gave me were hair chalk for kids! I have always wanted streaks in my hair, but when I was a kid, my mom wouldn't let me. Please answer my question! 😀
