Without a freezer or a straw, just a great cocktail and some mustache. Ramos Gin Fizz is known among bartenders as one of the cocktails that takes the most effort to make and also a cocktail where bartenders can really flex with the tower of foam. Ramos Gin Fizz:
· 60 ml (2 oz) gin
· 22,5 ml (0.75 oz) vanilla syrup
· 15 ml (0.5 oz) lemon
· 15 ml (0.5 oz) lime
· 4 drops orange blossom water
· 22,5 ml (0.75 oz) cream
· 1 egg white
· soda
Add ice and shake all ingredients (except soda water) for at least 30 seconds. Discard the ice and shake again. Pour 30 ml (1 oz) of soda water into a frosted glass and top with the cocktail. Leave the foam to settle for a bit before slowly adding more soda water to rise the foam over the rim of the glass.
Enjoy it like a true lady or a gentleman, responsibly!

    I’ve seen tons of people struggle getting the column of foam on KZread. A bar in my town specializes in this drink and they charge $20 and spend forever shaking. Your methods, specifically the reverse dry shake, and putting some soda water in the glass first makes this so easy to achieve that I got it in my first try, even without excessive shaking! It also helps to chill everything, including the shaker tins

    Amazing video, loved the intro especially. I myself made a variant of the cocktail with tequila, agave and orange bitters (I didn’t have orange blossom water) and somehow it ended up tasting like yogurt.

    Such a greatly executed drink! I never manage to get the foam that high in the glass. And I think I shake really hard! You achieved that without chilling in the freezer as well 😯. Any more tips for me? Always top quality on your channel 👍🙏

    Dairy products have to bo be poured in the shaker the last and if you still don't get foam that big, try to shake a cocktail with one big ice cube and a couple of small ones. I found out, that a big ice cube really shakes the drink and gives the cocktail even bigger foam (Sasha Petraske was so right about that). If you have only classic ice cubes you have to give it your all into this drink 💪 You can do it! Thank you!

    This book is a bar book with 64 cocktails but there aren't any measurements and instructions since we are using it as a menu in the bar. But I might surprise all of you by releasing a new book for all cocktail enthusiasts. Who knows 😉

    So shake for 30 seconds with ice. Then dry shake, but no mention of how long. Anyone know what a good duration to dry shake for?

    You can make a similar foam as I did for the clarified Ramos GF and you can prepare an alcohol-free milk punch at the bottom of the drink. Thanks!

    Of course. Sometimes with a bit of delay but always with pleasure. You are right. It's a tough one to achieve but with the right technique, you can achieve it. Try to add one big Ice block with some small cubes into the shaker. I figured out that I get the best foam by shaking it like this.
