Does Roy Cohn Rule The Oval Office From The Grave? | Conversations with Jim Zirin
Ойын-сауық
Roy Cohn was an unscrupulous lawyer who knew how
to beat the system. As a lawyer, he lit up the town
representing mobsters, prelates and his poster child
client Donald Trump. For 15 years Cohn was Trump’s
lawyer, fixer and political mentor. Cohn’s cousin, journalist
David Marcus, knows everything knowable about him.
He compares and contrasts for Jim Zirin the many parallels
between Trump’s combative tactics in office and the Roy
Cohn he observed in action.

Brilliant. The world needs to know this. Thank you so very much.
This is great. It needs more viewers.
I only heard about Roy Cohn at a documentary on Netflix about Trump and I was immediately surprised of his influence and charisma
It's always sort of bizarre to see these videos from the months leading up to COVID-19. Like our country and the entire world changed in 2020... The pre 2020/COVID and post 2020/COVID world. Entire paradigm shift. It's like the pre and post 9/11 world or the pre and post world wars world. (The differences between 1913 and 1946 are massive... Literally entirely different worlds). Almost everything and everyone on earth had massive transformation over that period.
Thank you for this interview, timely.
I always wondered why no one has ever put the Cohn/Trump connection together.

Or even better, not just Trump but Roger Stone were BOTH Roy Cohn acolytes. Another part of all of this is that Roy Cohn was involved in the running of the CIA’s blackmail pedophile ring back in the 70s, just as Epstein/Maxwell were for Mossad up until just recently. I’m praying that the evil elite pedophiles that run this country are getting ready to pay a hefty price for their unforgivable behavior and destruction of so many young innocent lives. Burn in Hell, you evil f***s!

8:27 - Same gestures with the tongue hanging out and breathing in as Roy Cohn himself

Wow. You can spot the guy's tongue for half a second and he's "just like Roy Cohn"...It doesnt "hang out" either. And what does this supposedly mean?
Roy Cohn type of guy is blonde and tall.

There never was a rule of law in Amerika!
J Edgar Hoover did the same thing to Black people and Gay people and he was both.
When Trump became president, he learned that he was dealing with greater monsters than himself.
Thee guest misspoke when he said" gotta remember this was the 1950's" when referencing trump's discrimination suit
Its nice to know that the difference between dirty-tricks that respond to dead bodies.

Wonder how well Roy got along with Capote?
@enolamsamoht

Probably not at all Mr. Capote/Parsons was out and proud of who he was. Roy Was repressed, and repression breeds all kinds of evil.
One of the best interviews about Cohn/Trump. I appreciate the nuance on Cohn's gayness, and especially how Roy might feel about Trump's treatment of intel agencies, Putin, and Ukraine - Cohn, there, would not be proud.
Where were all these people before the 2016 election? Did their patriotism & conscience not urge them to speak up & out about Trump & the disaster he would reek on our country?

Yes they did. Many people. It was loud and very clear and well evidenced. I don’t know why, but no one listened. Also he was supported and protected by Christians.

@@lynnstrange3819 The majority of Americans rejected Trump in 2016 as well as 2020. The problem is in 2016 he only lost by a couple million votes, so when they were tabulated in the electoral college he won. Then in 2020 he lost by a much wider margin - some 8 million votes - and was fired by America.

For sure Roy Cohn is in hell.
It’s worked until now but it’s about to end.
Less than 3 minutes I can tell this is a bash Trump interview. ✌🏻
Cohn's father was a judge....his relationship with his dad set the stage for his strategy as a lawyer and a man about town....fearless against all authority figures.

Cohn can hardly be labelled a man about town, unless you consider his cruising activities with rent boys across town as worthy of someone so described. Regular men about town would object...
You stole this from ME... Ive been saying this since trump was elected
I don’t know if Cohn was a bad apple or not . When he was on Firing Line and that tv show with Vidal , he seemed quite reasonable. These guys are so prejudiced it’s hard to gauge much.
Two years later, and much of what was said here has been validated.
I still dont get why he was considered evil

A fascinating window into Roy Cohn the guy to made Donald Trump. With all of Trump's current legal troubles (justified or not) you can see the Roy Cohn playbook is his go too.

@@respectamerica2382 It's funny to watch Democrats pretend they aren't building sympathy for Trump. As if they ever had any plans to run against anyone else. A clear indicator that most Americans are just plain stupid, easily manipulated, mindless conformists. Dummies will vote for whomever they're told.

I can't see how you can say that vis-a-vis Trump. The amount of footage doesn't support your assertion. But even if you were right, Cohn was Trump's mentor and lawyer when Trump was a young businessman on the up & up, and therefore an obvious influence on Trump the Snake-Oil-Salesman-in-Chief....
