I think your great sales are a combination of picking up great items, coming out of summer slow down and the algorithm of promoted closet! Well done! ~jc

It seems to me a lot of people have had a positive experience while trying promoted closets. The issue is that right now only a minority of people are using the function, but when it's open to everybody will they still see an increase in sales? Or will we all have to pay over $1K a year just to have what we had before?

I was waiting to hear how promoted closet was for you. And I agree with you! It’s so weird and confusing but I decided to continue after the free trial. I’m doing $25 a week (it’s the lowest and not recommended for my closet size) the recommended amount was $40 a week and I refused to go that high. But This has been my best sales month/year ever!!! Considering it’s the tail end of summer Im amazed. I would be lucky if I had 10 sales a week now I’ve been able to triple that but about 90 percent of those sales aren’t even part of the chart or a result of promoted closet so I still don’t have a solid Ah-HA! Moment to share lol.

Funny how you worry about having summer clothes while that’s not an issue for me…Arizona is summer pretty much all year and those clothes sell

I’m gonna do this Becky. I was gonna just bag up and donate clothes. Maybe I’ll try to auctions few and see if I can get them to go.

Hi Becky! I'm not sure if anyone commented this yet, but you are able to change someone's address on ebay very easily ☺️ in the purchase shipping label screen before you purchase your labels, next to the buyers address there should be an edit button that will allow you to update it 😊

I've had the same situation happen a few times with the buyer not having the correct address and once I explained the process to them they all went back and repurchased. I have found most buyers as long as they understand what is going on are very willing to comply with what needs to happen esp if the mistake is on there end. I just always make sure to make it as simple as possible for my buyer... once I cancel the order I immediate relist the item and send the buyer a message and include a direct link to the new listing for the item so they do not have to search for it in any way and every time they have went in and completed the sale.

I forget the hem all the time. I recently took home a pair of Ariat jeans and then realised they were hemmed, although it was very well done and it took me a while to realise. They sold quickly but I'd dropped the price significantly.

I've also had that happen with blazers! I inspect clothes so closely too (or so I thought) but sometimes things are really well done making it hard to tell.

That’s happened to me before with a sale and address. The buyer cancelled because they had the wrong address in and they never repurchased

Top Gun with Cruise was overrated. BUT the MUSIC....awesome.

I also had an Ebay sale with an address change. There is an option to edit the address. Crazy. However I reached out the the customer and they agreed to cancel the order and changed the address and repurchased the item.

I just finished 2:weeks of the trial. I think I did have a bump in sales, but the cost is too high when combined with posh fees for me to continue with the paid version. So a big No from me

Promoted closet was not worth the cost however, the charts and data provided was great.

Hey Becky! You mentioned in this vid that if you drop the price of an item that is over $100 Poshmark will give FREE shipping through CLOSET CLEAR OUT. I didn't know this bit of info. Where do you see those details? I have looked EVERYWHERE to try to find the listed discount amounts for CLOSET CLEAR OUT. I have even written Poshmark to try to find out the exact amounts, but have not heard back. Are there any other differences other than $4.99 & Free? Thanks so much!

I remember awhile ago I was able to change shipping addresses on eBay after they purchase. I haven’t done that in years so I’m not sure if they still allow that.

Yeah I believe you can edit the address before purchasing the label.

I've had address issues twice this week. On Depop a buyer reached out and said she thought people at her address returned the item but tracking tells it was delivered. Another sale, on eBay, the buyer reached out within 10 mins of purchase saying they forgot to change the address, asking me to ship to new address. I canceled the purchase and messaged them to go to the relisted item to purchase again with the new address... Which they never did. It's such a pain.

So far its been a week and not one sale using this promoted closet ]

I had someone wanting to change their address after payment on PM and PM told me to cancel the sale so the buyer could change the address and then purchase the item again (same as Ebay). On Ebay I've had several scammers trying to do that, so I canceled the sale and reported them.

Is it you get free shipping if you drop the price and it’s over $100? I thought the price still had to be over $150? Someone correct me if I’m wrong!

Does anyone ever have issues getting a human on the phone at ebay?

I made over 1000 dollars on Poshmark in 3 days and I don’t do promoted closet and I do 3% promoted listing on eBay on half my items and my none promoted sell just as much as my promoted items

Maybe you said this and I missed it, but how do you cross-post...any particular service you prefer over others? I sell on ebay, but in a massive lull. I've tried list perfectly a couple years ago, but was super slow, I thought. So. Many. Tabs. Any insight anyone can offer, I'd really appreciate!

I do use list perfectly. Personally I find it to be pretty fast, but that’s just me. I actually am planning on going live on KZread sometime this week or next just to answer list perfectly related questions and to help people with it. It is a lot of tabs, but they recently came out with an update where you can close them all with one click or something? Lol I’m not sure-I haven’t tried it, but it does work well for me.
