@@dman9152 The buys speak more the setup at Spurs. The infrastructure at the club only really changed when Paratici was brought in. Sess, Lucas and Sanchez remain, when they should all be moved on. As for the transfers themself, those were over the course of 4 seasons when a rebuild was needed and asked for. Through all of this Steve Hitchen somehow remained. Spurs had the stadium build, and that was glaringly Levy's priority. Because of this, it started to fall apart. Asking the same of players he had for the past 4 seasons started to get diminished returns. Everyone started to tail off. Players who left were not replaced with the same or better quality, or even replaced. It is no accident that under ENIC, Spurs have only one 1 trophy, in their 20+ years of ownership. Yes, they run a great business, but where it counts on the pitch. It has been poor. When Levy had a top up and coming manager, who molded generational players. He opted to not fully back him. Spurs are where they are, solely because of Levy's limitations at running the footballing side of the club.
No doubt a decent manager but Simon is right, the jury is still out on whether he is at the very top level. He won nothing at Spurs whilst doing a good job. The work he did at PSG was the very least you should be doing in a 1 club league and I would argue that the achievments of Dyche at Burnley, Howe at Bournemouth and Potter at Brighton were superior to his work at Southampton. I can see him getting the Chelsea job at some stage which will give him the chance to prove if he really is elite

@@user-dp3tr4ph4g That may be true but my initial point was in response to Simon saying Spurs didn't show up.
Ten Hag is sub standard
Southgate will never get a premier league coach, Pochetino is a far better coach an ideal fit for England.
If Poch had been given money Conte got he would have won it all. Its hilarious 🤣😂😅🤣😂
I like Alex, but yeah, this ain't it
Don’t know how I feel about an argie managing England tbh 😂

Poch is more English in terms of his heart, experience and vision.
Ha ha ha, fantastic, A Man United fan saying he LOVES NON-WINNING Poch. Sums up where that club is now.
"dodgy handball"" 😂😂😂 Man U fanboy can't resist. Pathetic really from an adult
Ofc he did well at Spurs but ultimately won nothing. Remember how he crumbled the season after losing the final? Come back stronger, use it as leverage to invest, but don't just fall onto yr knees and be sad about it. Agree with SJ for once he's very good, but not elite.
Back to Southampton after Jones departs
He's attacking football at spurs at times was breathtaking

Never have pochettino for England over my dead body. If this happens I will support Scotland and I'm not kidding
Alex crook is a hype merchant. A source told me. 99’9% opinion and speculation
POCH couldn't win Ligue 1 with PSG he couple levels behind
What I get from him he wants to be your friend not your boss
