odd test. Cute, but what happens when you need to extinguish a fire in real life situation? You better have your 3 or 5 pack on hand haha

On a plus side, it's very small, convenient and fights lots of different types of fire so no need for 3 different types of fire extinguishers in your house on every floor.

It only has 200ml of extinguisher fluid, a lot less than a canned drink. At that price you can get a medium size Class A, B, C and electrical extinguisher.

You can, but I wouldn't want one of those on my work desk whereas I can have a Lifesafe one and indeed to have one right in front of me right now.@@JoeEbitDa I don't intend tackling a big fire. If a fire is big, I will instantly call for professionals. If it's small, I'll give it 10 seconds of attention first.

Any type of fire that the stay safe can fight a standard ABC dry chemical extinguisher will put out and the dry chemical extinguisher will do a better job.

Why wasn’t a metal garbage can or bucket used for the demonstration. That’s very poor planning by the producer and a waste of money.

You did the community a disservice with this.... This product WAS NOT designed for the type of situation you tested. It was meant for someone that is cooking and spilled some oil on the stove that ignites, with an near instant attempt to suppress the fire. Not put out a dumpster fire. Someone that works with small low(ish) voltage... That type of stuff. And i can say as someone who used this literally a week ago, it saved my hobby room from burning down. One of my 3s Lipo RC batteries failed while charging and ignited, since im not a moron, i was near by and had one of these next to my charger as i always have. Used it, suppressed the fire long enough to get the now burning and melting battery out of my house, and give me time to grab my big extinguisher.

@@AllergicFungus Cool, so no ability to think for yourself. The real answer is this small bottle is easy to keep right next to a stove or other common ignition source to at least initially suppress a fire and buy you time to grab your bigger and more complicated extinguisher in a cabinet or the next room over. Nobody is going to keep a standard size extinguisher on their stove top, but they'll have no problem keeping this around. Even in their trash example, the small bottle could initially suppress the fire and slow its spread to buy time to go grab the bigger one that may not be as handy. If the fire is caught soon enough, it might also be all you need and not make the mess bigger fire extinguishers will make.

@@nunyabusiness896 You can keep it next to your stove as long as it is not subjected to temperature above 50°C, lower than the temperature of hot water from a tap! It is flimsy and only the fluid complies with EN3, not the construction of the extinguisher.
