Hey Matt, I've used about 10 of that style if holesaw pretty extensively. They work well in sheetmetal. I believe yours most likely failed due to too high speed being used on your drill press. Drilling steel with any bit should be done slowly and where possible with lubricant otherwise the sharp tips overheat and round/blunt as you experienced. Not having a go just trying to offer some advice. Thanks for the video of your experiences with Temu 🤙
I don't really get the people who say you're supporting China directly. You just pay what retailers usually pay for it and just don't make the retailer profit. China gets the money either way. It's not that the products you buy elsewhere aren't made in China.
