Meh depends on what you purpose them for. Vans are stakeboarding, average walking shoes, so sports would be a no go. In fact, making sports is what bankrupted vans in the 80s.

But nonetheless I do agree or think like this video is partially true. Any other shoe is gonna do well/ MUCH Much better than vans in; Hooping, game time or just like for ankles, your feet dang legs I’d say no, idek like adidas or nike may have tons of like cheap even options. Or &/ used hoop shoes that are clean can work. The like kyrie, hyper dunks or something like that

@@tajaeolabode cuz they're s k a t e shoes, it'd be like playin in socks, they're only meant to get loose and flimsy for foot movement, you need a stiff shoe for Ballin with them ankle movements shown above

@@pirty-dirty-bops3734 The differences are: suede and less / no canvas Tougher outsole Cushy insole A bit more traction More stable glue It would definitely help with cushioning. No ankle rolling prevention really, because you need to twist your ankle in Skateboarding a lot

the half cabs pro are pretty good for basketball, they got popcush which is for impact support in skateboarding, but it works as cushion and the ankle support is really sturdy. the traction is god tier, but they’re for skateboarding, not basketball although they’re pretty decent for basketball

Try the skateboard classic models. Upgraded insoles for more cushion

right? same here i used to play street ball in a pair of pro sk8-hi’s before i had enough for a second pair of nikes, and they worked really well. only complaint was like mark said, they got no cushion so my feet were killing me after like 3 games.
