In 2014, I had a bowel obstruction. I had to have emergency surgery. The doctors never mentioned that I had diverticulosis. Years later, I order different medical records, and I see diverticulosis over and over again in my records. I started having extreme pain on the left sid last week.. Every time my bladder filled, the pain became worse until I relieved my bladder. I went to the hospital, and they told me that I had diverticulosis. The doctor explained that because the bladder and colon are in tmsame area, I feel pain in my bladder. The muscle spasms are horrible. I've been constipated since last week. I thought that I was dying. I don't understand why the doctors don't tell you that you have diverticulosis and that there is a possibility that you may get diverticulitus. I've already had the bowel obstruction. I've had continuous issues with constipation. If the doctors tell patients ahead of time, this would give you a chance to change your eating habits. Corn, peanuts, almonds, popcorn, and beans are all things that I eat frequently.

In the year 2024, and the experts still have differing opinions on fiber! Crazy! Thousands of carnivores worldwide consume zero to very little fiber, without any problems.

It is crazy indeed. We should all be focusing on fiber. Even our ancestors did!

@@clinicalchronicles disagree on seeds. I was speaking to one Doctor Who said that the study many doctors point to Which says that seeds and nuts are fine if you have diverticulosis was not based on the population of people that have diverticulosis but a population of regular folks. Which shows correlation but not causation. It’s a useless study. Also I know many many people with diverticulosis that simply cannot Eat any seeds or nuts or else they get an attack. My wife is one my friend is one people and groups I am in the majority say the same
