    Coconut oil can withstand temperature that is too high, if you are in a country that is hot, it's good to use this.

    I’ve been using coconut oil for another use, and thought about, and like you’ve showed, it works perfectly. Thanks for making this video.

    Its like "coco butter" because organic coconut oil melts at about 76 degrees and becomes pure liquid if it drops below 76 degrees it will turn into a "candle". LOL. =-)

    Crazy, I’ve never heard/seen that. I’d try a gentle/non abrasive interior cleaner. Like maybe one specifically for the material of your dash.

    NOT if its ORGANIC cold pressed virgin coconut oil. Mix this with aloe vera and it will clean and condition at the same time. Its also by far the BEST hair/skin care product you will EVER use. Even helped My receding hair line ALOT! Like to the point you would think i'm lying if you seen the before/after pictures. You'd think the after pictures are photoshopped.

    Plastics are made from petroleum, da. The reason black trim plastics fade is because the oil in the plastic on the surface breaks down and dries out. Wiping the plastic with an oil restores the lost oil!

  • @kolestral
    @kolestral3 жыл бұрын

    Why the actual fuck would you use coconut oil on plastic? Use it on your skin or on uncoated leather, but on plastic... come on?!! There are so many synthetic products that you can restore and protect plastic with. Using coconut oil on plastic is like using motor oil on your face.

  • @JHall

    Yikes, language. Coconut oil is great for just about every surface, including plastic (tons of reputable websites suggest it as a good cleaner on plastic surfaces) i mean, it’s even stored in plastic.... have you had a bad experience with it on plastic? Thanks for the comment ❤️ and sorry you got so upset.

  • @kolestral

    @kolestral

    @@JHall Yes, I've had bad experience with coconut oil on plastics unfortunately. At the very least it makes the plastics look oily and shiny, because most plastics can't absorb the oil (therefore those plastics can be used for storage). The plastics that do absorb it, actually get damaged by it. For example PC plastics get dissolved by coconut oil. That's why even when you use it for cleaning, it's best to clean the oil itself from the surface afterwards.
