My brother shared a plane ride with Cher when he was in the Airforce. He said she was dressed cowboy-style and real pretty in-person. He said they talked about politics and about the US. Also said it never dawned on him to get her autograph. This was in 1970...I believe right before their TV show.

I got into cher's music in the 80's and she was awesome then I saw her in concert on a farewell tour in 2004 never thought I'd see in concert again . 14 years later 5th row center floors and yeah she still got it.
Exactly. Sonny & Cher and Carol Burnett put on variety shows. Hugely entertaining, with lots of talented guests, doing funny skits, singing, dancing and being witty in beautiful Bob Mackie designed elegant, sparkly, glamorous costumes. Contrast that with what there is today, a bunch of people chuckling to each other.

@@mckayleem3098 yes but not throughout the show with time stamps like svu has. instead of individual cases every few days or so in the episodes, it’s all one big case. i’m fine with that right now, bc we need to know what happened with kathy and olivias brother and everything, but if this show is gonna get picked up for more seasons it’s gonna have to branch out a little more

@@susansanborn5686 ah gotcha. Yeah I do think they’ll branch out but I like the style of show. I know it’s not the typical L&O one and done case but I don’t mind getting to go home with the villain and really get into all of it. It feels more character than case driven and I like that.
