Thank you for breaking this down, really shines a light on the areas the game needs to improve

Can we get a "mode" that extends the amount of turns, cards and positions. Example: 10 turn games with possibility of it being a 11th turn in some games? with a deck size of 20? rather than 12 and 6 spaces to place cards in 3 different locations? Yes it wouldn't be for everyone but it's something different to the rinse repeat cycle we all doing currently in game. The avatar emotes in game are fun and somewhat goofy but I feel they are to basic and they become obnoxious after playing for a month, maybe we can have some new ones in the battle pass? Can we also have the game read your "title" to your opponent as you pair up a match with them and you see there name and avatar. Would be nice for it to be the same voice as the person saying "SNAP" when we snap currently. If they want us to value this junk then I want it to do more than just sit there.

I still even use Elektra at 4k CL in my Zoo decks (when Sunspot is in the meta and decks with Nova) she's still very useful and the deck needs 1 drops. Also I have her Dare devil variant, so I have to play her.

So far, every s4 card that's dropped to s3 I already opened at s4 (and that goes for Orka, Attuma and M'Baku too). It feels pretty bad because a) I don't get to open any "free/easy" s3 cards and b) I seem to have the worst luck opening s4 cards I don't want rather than ones I have a use for. It also means, apart from season pass cards, I don't think I've opened a new card since early January (and _that_ was Helicarrier, so not very exciting). With how grindy the ladder is, getting new cards is one of the few joys and they've devised a system where I'm not even able to do that right now :(

Same thing is happening to me. The pool 4 cards that I pulled in reserves are attuma, maria hill coulson and orka :((

When they started pool dropping, I was nowhere near series 3 complete. The first pool drop cards were really good, so I hoarded boxes and didn’t open until the drop. The second pool drop wasn’t nearly as good, so I decided to just keep opening. I opened Coulson as my second ever pool 4 card, and then they did the drop a lot earlier than expected. So far, my pool 4 luck has been pretty awful. First one was Super Skrull (love the card but he’s pretty terrible). Second one was Coulson just before the pool drop as described above. Third was Valkyrie who… is situational, but has fun options in Cerebro and can potentially play well against Shuri. I’ll probably play with her some once I get Bast and Adam Warlock. They said they’re making changes to token acquisition and the shop experience this week, but I don’t think they’ve said what. I for one would like the token shop just removed and replaced with a card catalogue, but that’s very optimistic. Any token improvements will be a big plus. At a bare minimum, I’d like Token Tuesdays to become permanent, which they probably are.

I'm only CL 1106, so I don't think I"m at the place where I'm experiencing this frustration. But I do understand it. Espeically when teh pool is so much less than other card games, you need to feel like you adding to your collection. I also pay rather casually as well, I'm not grinding necessarily for that next card, I play enough to complete missions, and maybe progress through the season chapters. To be honest it seems complicated just to be able to add to your collection steadily wihtou having to understand so much underlying concept about the game. Maybe that's part of it, it's not as simple as just adding to your collection like you would with other games, and tha'ts not a bad thing, but it's hard to feel like your progressing when you're more worried about getting something then just being able to enjoy the process of getting something new to add to your colleciton.

Yeah, I get your pain. My only series 5 card I opened in a box was Dazzler, who, on top of being a terrible card, is also being downgraded.

Any card that will definitely drop pools feels like such a waste. That's another incentive for me to buy season passes. Imagine you finally get that series 5 card and its a card you could have got for £10 😂

This month I have gotten so far, 1 card. The season pass card. The last time I got a season pass card was when Kang released (bought him) and prior to that it was when the last series drop happened. Needless to say it has been a long damn time and I have had to skip cards that I wanted to try because I simply cannot afford them and who knows when they will come to series 3.

I’m in pool 3 maybe halfway and I just got 3 pool 4 and 2 pool 2 cards in my recent draws.

I enjoy dazzler with ultron patriot deck I got her collector’s reserve on her second day of release so I find her very enjoyable

I don’t really know how you solve a lot of the acquisition problems. My issue as a mid pool 3 casual player is finally getting a “good card” that has been nerfed to the ground the week before. We see all this praise/complaints about this card or that card from content creators and high collection level players that by the time someone like me even gets a chance to try the card, it’s useless (I’m looking at you shuri and thanos). I’m not saying those cards shouldn’t be nerfed but I almost threw my phone when I got leader. I’ve only experienced the “overpowered” deck once with surfer but that was because I actually bought the season pass and even then, I got cards like polaris and juggernaut after surfer got nerfed. I don’t know what the solution is but it feels like the game needs some help fast.

Hard agree. Hopefully the patch improves card acquisitions in a positive way.

As a “dolphin” I just wish the matchmaking would take collection levels into account more than it does. At 1600 I was running into darkhawks and knull galactus every day, and I wasn’t playing around them for a long time because I assumed there was no way I could be running into multiple players each day with multiple (at that time) Series five cards. I care less about card acquisition than I do about being matches up against “lucky” players who have multiple cards I’ve rarely ever seen before.

And here I am having pulled Galactus, Knull and Sentry (while he was still S5) before CL3000. I did however pull Attuma as my S4 card 2 days ago just before this drop was announced

I dropped Orka, Attuma and M'baku. only saving grace was I got Shuri in-between Atuma and M'baku. I actually got Shuri and M'baku back to back though. I got Shuri at the end of a block and M'baku at the start of the next one... so they were actually 2 x cards in a row for me.

Orka appeard in my new section on the token shop (to get it for free) And not happy enogh he appeared again in the first box i open minutes later.

Make avatars a reward for splitting their cards several times. E.g antman split u got the antman avatar. Also Maybe have like gold/ink after 10 variants or something just to flex

Edit: I think the longest you can go without a card is 6 boxes (so the 7th would be the card) Does this sound right? I might have the number off by one. This is the way I was counting it anyway, when I levelled through P3.

No, it’s one in every set of 4 There are only so many ways to word this. Box 1, box 2, box 3, box 4 Box 5, box 6, box 7, box 8 You will always have 1 series 3 card in box 1-4. You will then always have 1 series 3 card in boxes 5-8. You will then always get one series 3 card in boxes 9-12. It is possible for you to get a card in box 1, and then the next card in box 8. It would also be possible for your cards to be in boxes 4 and 5. But there will always be one in each distinct set of 4

@@FalconeHosts Ok right yeah. this is what I meant, too. I just probably worded it wrong. I meant the longest you will go is 6, because on the 7th box it will 100% be a card (meaning you can't go more than 6 boxes without a card) Does that add up with your maths? I need to learn all this stuff properly anyway, so it's good going over it.

I hope they will change the number of tokens after you completed series 3. 100 tokes are such a pain in the ass... And they should spread new cards between series 3, 4 and 5. When I was playing HS and LoR, it was always something, when new cards came. But in SNAP... I don't care at all.

Currently 2800 CL but managed to pull Sauron and Thanos in Series 5 and Shuri and Super Skrull in Series 4 while I was still at CL 2,500. It really is all just luck unfortunately

Use to love your content, now it feels like the only videos you make are ones complaining. While I understand your points, I come to watch for a positive experience and always leave feeling negative. Once series 3 is complete the only thing that changes is you get more collectors tokens

They should release 1 card from every pool each month.

We just need a little more ways to get tokens. Otherwise I think the system is not awful.

Shadow King might be okay if he was, say, a 3 drop so I can play him alongside Maximus on turn 6, but a 4 cost just feels bad even against Shuri decks. Sure, it's great that he ignores Armor, but setting a 30 Red Skull to 15 is still not a guaranteed win when you're playing a 3 power card on turn 6.

My biggest problem is that they all start in series 5 and then drop. Why do I care about "new" cards I probably won't be able to play for 2, 3, 4+ months? I don't mind the series system, but if they added, like, 1 or 2 s5 cards, 1 or 2 s4 cards, and at least 1 s3 card each month, that would feel better. Like Kitty Pryde. Is she worth 6K tokens? Probably not. Why not put her in series 3 to start?

Series 5 should be renamed Zero Hype Cards/6 month Cards!

Yes there’s no reason for such busted cards to be at such a low rate and the token shop is sooo stupid it takes forever to get just a pool 3 card it takes 6 times as long to get a pool 5 card just for you to need another pool 5 or 4 card or that one pool 3 card that you don’t have that’s in almost every deck (most likely doom) there should be a function for collector caches after 2k collection level where you can “wishlist” cards and items so when you get a card as long as it’s in the same pool as one or more of the cards in your wishlists it’s guaranteed to be one of those same thing as variants but only for the same series so you can get good pixels before shitty ones

There are many things that they could change to make it more f2p friendly and whale friendly. I will list a few that I would love to see: Daily login in rewards, either 50-100 credits to help people gain collection level faster. remove titles and avatars from the collection track and give them to us as daily login rewards because no one wants them for working up the collection track. Now you will say, what about everyone who has earned them through the track so far? give them 50-100 credits for every titles and avatar they got as reimbursement. once it's done it's done! no one can complain further. The reason why I want a daily reward for showing my face is because some days you can check the game multiple times either for the token shop rotate or because you want to complete daily missions when they refresh, so 50-100 credits for showing my face is nothing. Back to the titles and avatars if they were not in the collection track and you got more credits, the climb would be less of a slug. Bundles should not cost more than £20 max. They are pictures in a game, usually of a card you already own or are close to achieving. but hey give us £55 and you can have "insert card". no thank you, I say to that. If the game has high priced bundles how do you expect new players to want to stay when they see junk like this? No one wants to be mugged in broad daylight. The token shop needs to have one of these options because it is junk as is. Option 1. Three options should be given every time the shop rotates, 1 x pool 3 card, 1 x pool 4 card, and 1 x pool 5 card. Option 2. Given us a 50% discount in the token shop once every 2 weeks. or Option 3. Just make the token shop 30% cheaper overall. Just to point out the £100 bundle is literally the price of rent in brazil. Improve the nexus events that was garbage. No one wants to click on a link to go to another site to attack a stationary monster for almost a month that is not fun. while I'm at it I will throw a few more things in there too. Remove the fast upgrade section in the shop. it is a waste of peoples credits and it ends up biting them down the road later. the only reason why I can see they do this is to hope someone breaks that first purchase wall to buy gold in turn buy credits. predatory practice IMO. Give us the ability to change to any card frame we have already unlocked for cards many have asked for this for some time now. Give us a mystery variant once a day for 500 gold in the shop it allows people to get variants more consistently but in a random manner instead of a pre chosen card from the variant shop.(mystery variants) would have to have both 700 and 1200 variants to make it worth it for the players to gamble on a random picture. whilst were on variants no more pixel variants should be added to the game. I'm not 100% sure if this is a thing second dinner are considering going forward but from what I can tell no one wants them so please don't add anymore. When I play a match and the background is nothing but space and a asteroid I am kind of gutted they haven't done anything about this so far but I now lean to the side that they do this on purpose to make your cards "POP" more off the screen. I want different Backgrounds and sooner rather than later looking at the asteroid is gloomy. I want us to see more because the locations pictures are a speckle on that board compared to the board itself. Can we please get more deck slots 20 is just criminal. Add "Darwin" from the X-men please? And finally I believe I might have a solution to Thanos, separate him from the stones/gauntlet, give him his own ability something that would be in-line with the mad titan, like destroy 2 random enemy cards when when Thanos is played for example. Make the "infinity gauntlet" card pool 3 so it's more attainable and allow that card to do what the stones do but only at half their power until the gauntlet is in play. This allows people who have earned Thanos and The gauntlet to still use Thanos with the stones and gauntlet but at the cost of playing the gauntlet and also being down another card because you now have to have "Thanos" and "The Infinity Gauntlet". I feel this is an interesting Idea because in the comics Thanos was not the only person to use the Gauntlet and the stones". One more thing I really want to see, players are able to earn gold via the battle pass right? So why are we not given an option to buy the pass for gold, gold that we worked hard to earn in game. Because it would encourage f2p Timmy to save his gold for the an up-coming season pass and second dinner would lose money but I play another game called rainbow six siege and the battle pass is bought using "r6 credits" which cost money irl but they allow you to earn 2/3 of that back by completing the battle pass so you have something towards the next one. I am not asking for them to give us every other battle pass to us for free but maybe, we buy 2 battle passes then save all the gold from both and then decide I want to use my gold to buy the next season pass because the bundles are a complete rip off.

That is why I said 50-100 credits because card acquisition is terrible 50 doesn't cut it if you ask me. it may do on some days but would be nice to get 50 credits and a avatar or a title or if your lucky 100 credits with a title or an avatar, they look like they are here to stay in the game but I don't think it's nice getting them from reserves on the collection track it is tiresome. So my solution would not get rid of them just place them in a daily reward instead of the collection track, changes up that daily 50 credits crap.

I'm a Dolphin and I can't get access to any of the new cards. I have been a Dolphin in other games and have had 97% of the colley. The game becomes stale because I can't get access to any new content.

I dont agree that card aquisition is getting naturally better i believe the bloating of series 3 is going to create a wall for new players to get to the point of launch players/whales, it might be fine now but needed 3k collection levels to complete series 3 MAY be reasonable for some people but it keeps getting bigger every month where will we be in a year for a new player to join and just see this deep pit to try to overcome

You are hard schilling, the problem is the vast player base can’t get a new series 5 card without spending $200. That’s also if you’re series 3 complete. No other ccg game requires you to spend that amount of money for ONE card. For that amount you can build a tier 1 deck in Arena, YGO, or Hearthstone. Is spending $200 for one card ok with you? This effectively paygates players from playing with the newest and most exciting cards. Only whales and content creators effectively get to play with new series 5 cards. Also a majority of content creators noticed how much anger and vitriol their videos with new cards receives.

i feel like people complain a little too much and should learn to enjoy games the way they are. There have been many situations where devs listen to complaints and implement new ways to use those ideas just to destroy the game as a whole.

This game acquisition system is novel. It’s just bad, IMHO. That said, if they’re gonna stick with it, ‘agency’ is key, I think. For the good of the game long run.
