Does life starts when the sperm and the egg form a zygote? Or does life start after parturition? Or does it start at the time of implantation of the blastocyst in the uterine wall? You don't know. You don't know the exact moment when life starts. Read the original comment once again... "The purpose of your life, the destiny of your life is fixed by you and nothing else but you". And you point out birth isn't in our control. That doesn't contradict the above statement because you can't set your destiny if you don't even exist. A river starts from it's source and the source isn't decided by gravity but gravity controls where the river flows~

@@daneshagarwal4272 Well, what they're saying is absolutely true in my opinion. Not everyone can become Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Ambani because not everybody works hard just like they did. Not everyone has the determination to work hard like they did. Do you even know their life stories? All of them have worked super hard to achieve what they have today. Nothing is luck. I don't believe in luck much and neither should you. Almost everything depends on your karma. If you put the efforts and do the work then you WILL get your desired results sooner or later, this is karma. If you don't get the results, it's the karma of your old karma - the result of your old deeds. One must never depend on luck and destiny or whatever and wait for something good to happen in life because life isn't a bed of roses. It has it's thorns. So work hard, face those thorns and achieve the victory. Sorry, if anything I said sounds rude. I just thought it'd be nice to share my thoughts when I saw your comment. Thankyou Sadhguru. This video stopped me from doing a stupid mistake. I was confused about going for a tarot reading. But after this, i have realised i should focus on my today. Thankyou sooo much.

My girlfriend does tarot so I wanted to get my guru's perspective on this since tarot is seen as a form of meditation from the reader. Everything in life is connected in a circle. But yeah, our minds must be clear so we can guide our own lives. We must not worship anything at all. If we must worship something, it must be nature.

Thank for this, astrology is a tool and sometimes it can cause more harm than benefit if taking it to seriously.

Sadhguru is partially correct. We should not be totally dependent on horoscope, but at the same time we must not be too ignorant. As planets do have an impact on our lives. We shud atleast respect this law of nature. The sun and all other planets do have an effect on us. However again like he said you are the controller of your own destiny. If you obey the laws of this universe, the universe will obey you.

Astrology is just a guidance! Sometimes, we may lose directions in our life such as we may ask 'what should I do now'. Normally, we would ask our friends, relatives, elders or some others! But, at times, we may loose the hope and don't rely on any opinion from another human being! This is the situation when people start looking forward for a direction from some extraordinary forces! Naturally, they end up in consulting with an astrologer. But apart from any of such vague explanations, it may have some scientific reasons that we don't know, especially when they are more invariably relating astrology with some kind of planetary positions!

@Necro Fell Look Bro. I cannot make you believe something that you don't wanna believe in. In Astrology we never say word planet. We use the word "Graha" that has a separate meaning first of all. And for your scientific knowledge our existence depends on the celestials bodies around us. If moon can Lift up the ocean, tell me why it cannot have an impact on all the living being in this planet especially us humans whose whole body consists of more than 70% of water. To explain astrology right or wrong I will tell a simple matter..(plzz read everything that I wrote)... when a Patient go to the hospital and doctor says if the patient doesn't stop eating foods that contain high in sugar level he may suffer from DIABETES within 6 months and the patient follows doctor's advice and he became healthy... Does it mean doctor's prediction is wrong..?? Obviously NO.. he just told u to be conscious about ur foods that u consume... This is SAME in case of ASTROLOGY... astrologer means doctor and the patient here is the person who wants to know about his future... It is as simple as that...try to understand then judge about it..

True...and this astrology hampered my life... whatever he said I feel I was better before going for astrology...I have become a vessel for some time...now I don't care what is there in future...it really hampers u and u ll live life like that...I have seen many people doing this and forcing others to go for astrology...please don't do it...it's upto their wishes...I was also being forced and my life changed and I was not what I was before...it affects u very badly...if something doesn't work as said then it will be like horror for days months years...I not telling it's bad...some people find their way by knowing what is going to happen and prepare for that... It's just like a cheat...like in games if u know which level is hard and where and how can you overcome...you will win but u can't have fun playing it. Please I also suggest people who follow astrology not to force others. There are some people who love to live the life in their way battling it without knowing the past or future...let it be...they will find a way how to move on..

I do study of cancer patients and have prrof that the cancer can be predicted the DAY YOU ARE BORN....where the cancer is...which organ it affects.... When it wi start to affect and when and if the person does or survives.....s think astrology is bullshit??

it can only tell you what are the possibilities in your life. Astrology does NOT predict the future . It reveals gravitational trends and opportunities NOT absolutes. I makes you aware of your abilities to ACT in the proper time window which will always close again. Facility and difficulties are the main reveals... So you can choose the path most beneficial to you. If I say that you are going to get trouble in whatever career you gonna choose for yourdself. Now most people will sit idle and say, "Oh my horoscope said I am going to fail, so yeah I failed. Blame my horoscope, I couldn't do it anyway. No one can mess with the fate" or you can say that, "okay so I will have some problems, well I wanna be a teacher so let's rule out what kinds of problems there are which can cause hindrance and better start preparing for them." You see that the 2nd guy has chances of success there? In the end It's just your belief sir. Life gives you stone, it's upto you to make a castle or a tomb.

an excellent talk on external authorities but outside of India astrology functions for many other things than allowing a man to tell you your future. astrological wisdom has been expanding human consciousness for thousands of years. by learning it, by learning your relationship with the harmony of all of life ...I find that many ppl in the west benefit from this type of understanding that is very much in accordance with swadhaya and many other beautiful paths to knowing the truth of who you are. Reducing it to a guy in chennai who wants control over others is a mistake. prognostication is very narrow , but this is not the whole of astrology. It is reducing astrology to a fear based religious application...it is up to the consciousness level of the practitioner, like anything else.

I would read Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhansa Yogananda and also Maharishi Mahesh Yogi’s teachings on Jyotish to get a proper explanation and understanding of astrology. Discounting the value of Jyotish because people generally don’t know it’s proper utility is disappointing.

This is what I call intelligent, rational and mature spirituality. Don't follow Sadhguru, seek to become like he has become.

Self established people can only do what they want irrespective of any big objects around them. Either we should handle ourselves completely or we shall be handled by objects around us. If you even don't know who you are and what you do.. then all the objects will influence you at most of the time. So you should understand that and you have to divert your self from those objects influences. For those 99% people, it's needed.
