His full potential may come in the future but right now he's pretty niche. I do like his style, lore, and dmg. Great character model. I'm not a big DA fan though so I may just go the free route this time.

I would tend to agree with you… it definitely feels quite niche!

Btw how are you calculating costs (specifically, item energy costs) and days to unlock? Like, is it optimal swipe plan assuming all elite campaigns are cleared? Or a fixed energy cost per item rarity, or maybe something else?

There is a bit in my Google sheets that you can adjust but currently I have it set that: - for uncommon to rare upgrades, it presumes you can use elite nodes. - for elite and legendary upgrades, it presumes you are using mirror nodes (as it’s not always possible to have the elite nodes) and I presume most people that use my sheet are newer players. - it’s calculated with using 110 Blackstone per day and that you upgrade one character shards from a normal node

I think one part u could add to videos intended for LRE evaluation could be how they function in a turtle, coz i'm pretty sure that's how most ppl get thru LREs. Stuff like tankiness at Gold 1 (terrifying nice here), cleave dmg (none in this case), etc.

It’s a pain in the butt with google sheets honestly. There isn’t really a simple answer. I used to have all the data stored on a separate sheet so all you needed to do was grab the changes, but sadly Google sheets didn’t allow me to have 1000 people accessing the same sheet for some reason.

I was talking about the legendary event meta… which is basically just the top ten characters + healers + tyrant guard tbh

I like the DAs, so I do want him. But his lack of traits is a little disappointing. Hopefully he is cooler than he currently seems, and that the future DAs are awesome.

Free pass giving 25 shards means that there's no chance for a ftp player to unlock him. It's impossible that the special event, TA and the Quest give 225, unless they make something really strange in shards distribution. That means that the devs blatantly lied in their weekly FAQs when they said "maybe". At least in my country (which is EU member) it's illegal because it's misleading advertisment. Well done SP, well done.

You should run the team with Thoread instead of Bruchard. Thoread gets Azrael and Asmodai extra hits on their melee attacks

I think the thing that is interesting for me about this series is how differently I would put them together in hindsight!

The value of this battlepass compared to the value of the Death Leaper Battlepass, has dropped massively, which in my opinion is disappointing to see. I did love the breakdown for LREs that is really helpful!

⁠@@Monk1400it’s the amount of shard given. You used to be able to buy the BP and get the unlock now that’s not the case with Asmodai. We are be “given” shards for Asmodai through several ongoing events. “Hunt for the Fallen”, Asmodai Quest event, and Infested TA.

@@Monk1400 In Death Leaper Battle pass, you were giving 250 shards for Premium and 400 for ultimate, for this one you get 125 shards for Premium and 250 for ultimate. So the amount of shards has dropped for both battle passes.

I don't like the Ultimate pass unlock. The premium pass may not even get an unlock, depends on how well I do on the other events. I'm not spending $10 for a chance to unlock a character. I have plenty to work on already

@@DBPreacherTacticus yup! I recently finished my long Calgar farm and unlocked Ragnar. Asmodai looks good, but not as good as those two. I can't see him making the cut in any raid teams and probably not any LRE either... unless we get a Dark Angels requirement or something

Yeah I wonder how long until they add in more lge variability! I hope they do although I know it will pain people too!

I want him as I’ll never get him any other time as he will end up in guild wars or rogue trader but at the same time I’m not going to build him at all. I don’t have a single DA unlocked yet so getting him is pointless right now. I haven’t even got a single BT to silver and half my space wolves are at Iron 3 😂😂

So first of all, character looks fantastic. But other than that he's quite useless... Don't know if i want to buy a pass to get him. Just for the collection... for him to sit at stone rank for half a year, because everything else is already planned.

Yeah, it’s a tough sell imo! He looks cool but I haven’t levelled any of the Dark Angels yet and I don’t see him as essential… however, I can’t resist a good battlepass 😂

@@DBPreacherTacticus They also, for some reason, made him unlock only at ultimate BP. If i remember correctly, Deathleaper unlocked on a regular one, didn't he? 25 bucks is a big price for me and I'm not ready to spend so many on a character and few resources...

​@@LayronPK There is also the event and quest, ma theory is that the quest will allow us to unlock him, the paying battle pass will allow for legendary, the paying + one will make for legendary 4 stars and 5 stars if you add the paying option for the event Edit : I was wrong, from this video it seems it's possible to get 398 shards, minus 225 it doesn't allow for it, guess the game is gonna start slowly dying if they go this path

I believe SP is making a mistake in not having Dreadnoughts in the game. Bjorn for instance should have been put in the game instead of Arjac. I know DA won’t get a Dreadnought character but that’s a shame. Maybe in the Deathwing faction if they get put in

If people cannot unlock him without buying except the community to start slowly dying, they made us get excited for him months in advance, saying that for the next dark Angels it would not be HRE or LRE... Having to pay to unlock him isn't something special, i was fully expecting an Actus type event... If they at least made him possible to be just unlocked threw the event and making it so paying player can get him directly to diamond it would have been fine I'm sure, but it doesn't seem it's the case at all, expect the core community to be clearly disappointed... And if they go towards that more and more for the game to slowly but surely die Im not even angry, just disappointed, they released the guild wars which revived the game that was starting for a lot of people to have "fatigue", it was great, it was all of what the community needed, and now they choose the dark side, what a stupid decision

​​@@DBPreacherTacticusit's what I believed they would do before watching your video, time isn't the issue for me here But as you said in your video there is 398 shards to be win here in the month, if you remove the 225 ones from the paying part of the battle pass... That leaves 173 shards to get for free (or even less if you took into account the paying part of the event too) and an epic character is 250 to be unlocked I'm not sure why you believe it is possible since I got that from your own video I really hope I'm wrong now and was right before, but for what I can see now it seems they go in the wrong direction
