Installed mine yesterday on 2023 S3 8Y Noticable difference in turbo spool and throttle response. Sound also way nicer and throatier. Thanks for the vid. I am happy I came along this! Great work!

The OEM+ look if these intakes is great, almost looks like a factory option. Also gotta say thanks to Mk7 Jeff for making all that testing available for free as I've really enjoyed reading through it all and thinking about what I want to do with my Alltrack.

Love the intake sound - much better than vanilla stock with the Soundaktor! Increased Hp and Torque nothing to sneer at either! Now do a soft tune comparison with the stock and aftermarket intake. That would be an interesting comparison as well. Cheers!

Great video, been looking at adding an intake for a while now! Love the before and after comparisons along with the dyno results.

After having my mk7 performance for a year in stock form, I’m ready to get a little extra out of it. I’m happy an intake gets you more than just better noises. 💪

A little extra? You can get alot more like +80hp over stock. Tune and downpipe is most of that

The filter is so huge. Love how it looks as well as how functional it is.

Just like an exhaust,it depends on how restrictive it is to begin with.

@@MrTheHillfolk also depends highly on the design of the aftermarket intake. If it literally replaces your airbox with a cone filter under the hood sucking hot air, you're more likely to LOSE power.

I found this to be true for naturally aspirated engines, but with turbo power, intake is definitely worth it!

it is amazing how much of a difference that part made. especially in the sound.

Glad they offer the cotton alternitive , i have seen a lot of damaged foam filters and I was always afraid of downtime to replace one , Sick system !!

Didn't expect to see any gains, pleasantly surprised. Racingline makes quality stuff though. I've been running their cup kit on my 2 door MK7 for about a year now and it's been perfect.

I love your channel, I came across a few months ago, Kinda living my youth thru my son, Had a MK6 SE 2.5 Manual jetta,Billstein Lowered, Catback exhaust, LED Lights etc, at the Beach and a BMW did a donut and smashed the front, Totaled, Just got a MK7 GTI, Frigging Love it, He does too, I had a Golf GTI in the early 90s..after my 68 Ghia, Loved that car. My car was the tester for Injen and their intake. It’s a straight aluminum massive pipe but sounds incredible!! They dynoed and saw nice power improvement around the same you. But I like the look of the Racingline

Things I learned from Paul from an intake install…rub things together for lube and don’t go in dry😂 Awesome video!!

I am from Australia. I used to have a golf... Now I have a 2007 bf mkii Falcon XR6 ute. It has a straight 6 cylinder 4.0 litre turbo charged engine. Installed an intake and could feel the difference with it. Had it dyno tuned and went from 202kw at the wheels to 208kw at the wheels just with the intake. The actual dyno tune is now 306 kw at the wheels 870nm of torque. Only mods are the intake and a cat back 3 inch exhaust. My favourite thing about it is the induction noise from the intake.
