Muncy is playing unreal defense. That stab in the 8th was crazy good. Everyone who doubted the Dodgers’ infield defense needs to watch this game and review our infield defense stats. Even Lux at second has been fantastic and his comfort there seems like this was his ideal spot all along.

waldron and his single rotation knuckleball though. freeman is one of the best hitters i've ever watched. takes 2 "bad" pitches and drives both of them deep.

With the bases loaded their manager brought in a pitcher who gave up four homers in his last 3 1/3 innings. If I was a Padres fan and was watching I may have turned the TV off in disgust after the grand slam.
