as a dodger fan, i have to say kudos to the hoover brothers in right and center fields.

This was an impressive win from TOR considering how LAD has been playing as of late. The AL East is and still will be the toughest division in the MLB. LAD will bounce back from this. Congrats on the win TOR 👍.

Just wanted to say I've seen you around the recaps since I came back to watching baseball, appreciate you being one of the few positive vocal Yankees fans commenting on Jays games. Grats on the monster blowout on the Brewers series too, great team this year.

Blue Jays outfielders made some great defensive and crucial plays this game.

Hands down the best games the Blue jays played all year, when Keimeier returns, its either home run or a catch, best defensive outfield in MLB history

Varsho in left, Keirmaier in center, and Springer in right… I don’t actually doubt that that could be considered the best defensive outfield of all time. And by no means am I saying the Jays are the best team in the league or anything like that. Their offence stinks. But those 3 in the field are a force on defence.

There are browser extensions that can hide all the thumbnails.

Secretly there are a couple dodgers I like. Mookie(ex-red sox), Freeman and that's about it. They are a great team with many future hall of famers. But I like when they lose because it keeps reality a factor when in actuality LA should win every single game. Their pitching and hitting are 5 stars. The Dodgers should have won this game. None of those Dodger greats came through when they needed to get the win. It is unfortunate, but those things happen. You can lose a game on any given day, and this game was one of them. The Blue Jays played an outstanding defensive game! Kudos to them for their great playing.

He's in Toronto on his off days, in order to do his bullpen sessions with Pete Walker.

Jays OF has been elite since they got Springer but it has rarely mattered with how bad the bullpen has been. If Jays can just get actual MLB quality pitching, this is what their defence would look like every game.

Lots of comments about the Jays great OF defense... Springer's grab on the Pages ball was legit. Ohtani's ball was more of a bad route than an awesome catch. Same with Springer on Freddie's ball. They made the plays, tip of the cap for that, but better routes make those plays a lot less dramatic. Props to the Jays for making 3 runs stand up.

The varsho catch on Ohtani's ball wasn't a bad route, the ball just sliced back toward him. What made it a great catch was the adjustment at full speed, turning the body without taking the eye off the ball, keeping spacial and body awareness while doing so, and then not letting the impending contact with the wall affect his squeezing of the glove. The majority of mlb outfielders (the best in the world) in the same instance would have either stumbled or had the ball glance off their glove. Agree on the other springer one though.

Imagine Willie Mays or any star of the past getting a single and doing a dance and making a fool of themselves...unreal

@@PancakeGurl Vlad had one good season and he's been a bum otherwise. He's overrated in the same way any player is overrated: by not being as talented as many people claim he is. People see the name and remember his dad, who was a great player and assume Vlad will be the same, but he's proving to us that it's simply not the case. He's hitting .208 with 10 RBI and couldn't even round first base in this game without looking like a clown (and subsequently being picked off)
