The gen5 viper did not take the Record around the Nurburgring.. But it still the fastest one around the Ring with a manual Transmission😊
This year, 2024, marks the 30th anniversary of the 1994 NBC TV series, Viper. Which also has my most favorite movie/tv based car ever made: the morphed armored Viper Defender. No history of the Dodge Viper would be complete without mentioning both the underrated TV show and the extremely cool Viper Defender car.
The gen 3 engine sound and revolution frequencies were the cleanest and most efficient and were the smoothest sounding and driving of them all!
The gen 2 1998 gTS is my favorite WITHOUT THE REAR SOILER !!

Great video and excellent Contant. I’m a car collector and on several Porsches. I just bought my first Viper last night. 2001 Gen 2 is what I have in my favorite. Classic luck with ABS.

A little more to add an often over looked tidbit of viper history progression the first racing team was not sponsored by Chrysler in fact they refused to do so on an untested platform, so Rent-A-Car sponsored Luigi Cimarosti and built RT10s that raced GT1 class, 2 cars were raced but a few more spare chassis were built. The success of these RT10s is what moved Chrysler to move into GTS development the ACR and GTSR for the GT1 and GT2 class racing which going down to detail could be considered very different cars themselves. I am partial to the open roof and side exhaust of the RT10.

I grew up playing forza horizon I played the fist generation of the game I've always had the doge viper gts cars and my favorite Gen car is the doge viper Gen 4
