Hello Erik Super Glue would not work and actually cause an adverse effect. You can buy the RTV silicon I used from any auto parts store: Auto Zone, NAPA. Walmart may actually even sell it as well. Hope that helps.

I used a black RTV silicone. It hardens well with elasticity and a “rubber” type compound.
I just used scotch tape after cleaning and it’s been working for years again.
