always need to use touch up paint on the holes don't want to get moisture and rust to come

I noticed he used two step bits. Was the reason for taping the bit to show what size (how deep) to drill? I hope that question makes sense. Thanks.

Hello! Yes we used tape as a guide of how deep to go…in other words we stopped when we hit the tape line. Let me know if that makes sense, or you have any other questions!

I am surprised that there isn't more to seal those holes except for the rubber gasket. I would be nervous it would leak one day.

Welp, so far so good. No issues at all. This is the OEM factory set and how the dealership installs them! 😉

They must have been able to link where they bought the cap light and how they did to mark the cap light so that they would be straight and at the same distance

They are purchased from the dodge dealer parts department. The kit comes with a template for the holes so they are the correct spacing etc. Hope that helps

All that video and didn’t show em at night, I don’t get it, nice install but they are meant to be seen at night

Where did You put the ground? Without taking off the roof

Hi 👋, the ground is part of the wiring harness for the cab lights and it’s ran to the floor area of the drivers side. Hope that helps !’

How did you splice the wire?

The lights were wired together from factory. Just had to find the correct wire in box and tap wire with connector

Now they are unlawful in California unless the truck is wider than 80" I hear.

It’s optional for trucks 80” and under. But, trucks over 80” require clearance lights

Really annoying music, but other than that a good video.
