DODGE JOURNEY BLOWS WARM ON DRIVER SIDE COLD ON PASSENGER | FIAT FREEMONT

DODGE JOURNEY BLOWS WARM ON DRIVER SIDE COLD ON PASSENGER | FIAT FREEMONT
In this video we will show you how to diagnose if a Dodge Journey / Fiat Freemont heater blows warm on the driver side and cold on the passenger side. In Europe Fiat Freemont is actually Dodge Journey and that is why it should be the same procedure. We will demonstrated how our 2012 Dodge Journey blows warm on the driver side and cold on the passenger, should be the same for the whole generation.

I would guess heater core needs flushed or replaced. The cause, I believe is that people are topping off coolant level with different types of coolant. Orange HOAT coolant and Orange OAT coolant will cause the coolant to gel clogging heater core. This will cause the less heat on the passenger side and overtime to the entire cabin. I know because I am currently living this. Great videos!

Good Afternoon from Canada, I am having problems with my 2010 Dodge Journey RT. It is the 6 Cyl AWD model. The issue I am having is that the transmission sometimes will not go above 2nd or 3rd gear. I believe this is called Limp Mode? Other times it will shift normal as intended. The code that comes up is P0765 which is a generic code which indicates the shift solenoid. I'm wondering if you had a video on how to fix this problem or troubleshoot this problem as I've been told from local dealers that it could be multiple things such as : Wiring Harness, TCM, Shift Solenoid, or something internal with the transmission. Thanks!

It's the same for my 2010, Earnest. Dealer replaced the core and said an actuator door was bad ($7.00) but the 1400.00 core was unnecessary - just a way to pay for the snowmageddon weekend that had the car in the shop for an estimate. Anyway the fix lasted a few weeks and weather warmed up but I am back to my passenger blanket. Another trip into the shop for a 60.00 checkup. I should have a space heater for this problem. The dash isn't the same since they tore it apart! A flush would have done the trick if the line was clogged but the dealer doesn't bother with cheap fixes. The insurance company didn't cover the cost considering the dealership didn;t bother to call about the estimate and do their job. It's all about the rack. The dealership makes money on the rack no matter what. I hope you are taking care of the breaks. They need attention yearly!
