Dodge Coronet: A Time Travel Journey into American Model History

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The evolution of the Dodge Coronet is here! The Dodge Coronet is one of the most popular and versatile cars produced by Dodge in its history. From its debut in 1949 as a full-size luxury car to its last generation in 1980 as a mid-size car, the Coronet saw many changes and improvements in design, performance and technology.
In this video, we'll explore how the Dodge Coronet has developed over time and what features and innovations each generation has brought. We will see how the exterior and interior, engine and transmission, suspension and traction, as well as safety and comfort features have evolved. Moreover, we will also talk about some of the rarest and most valuable examples of the Coronet, such as the Super Bee model or the Hemi model.
For fans of the legendary Coronet, it is worth mentioning here some models that today are real treasures:
Coronet R/T: A performance model introduced in 1967 that had a 7.2 liter V8 engine that produced 375 hp and 651 Nm of torque. It could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and had a top speed of 225 km/h.
Coronet Super Bee: Introduced in 1968, it had a 6.3 liter V8 engine that produced 335 hp and 576 Nm of torque. It could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and had a top speed of 210 km/h.
Coronet Hemi: Launched in 1970, it had a 7-liter V8 Hemi engine that produced 425 hp and 664 Nm of torque. It could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and had a top speed of 240 km/h.

Thanks for the comment! Indeed, the 1970s Dodge Coronet R/T and Dodge Charger share many characteristics and are often associated with each other due to their similar design and impressive performance. However, each has its own distinct history and identity within the Dodge brand. The Dodge Coronet was one of the brand's flagship models, which saw several changes over time, while the Charger stood out as a symbol of American muscle car culture.

So many little mistakes! Spel-chek is not a substitute for proof-reading! Example: there was no 7.2 litre engine in any Dodge in the 50’s despite what this video reports. Also many 60’s Dodges had a 383 Cubic Inch engine, but no 383cc. Go work under somebody else’s supervision, you’re not up to running this show!

This must be from some other country, can tell by the narrator's goofy accent & using metrics. Lots of mistakes about American Coronets & showing Chargers instead. Sometimes other countries swapped names with other models.

@@autoevolutiontv LOL! You can cram that "opinion" BS and Just get history right! There is no excuse for wrong information being put out in this day and age.... There's been this uptick in US automotive videos being made by folks from outside the US that just don't get the facts right. If you're not going to do it right, then just don't do it at all.
