I have a neighbour that has a 72 440 Charger. That thing is badass. PS, i live in Germany, classic american cars are verry rare

Watched all the 38 episodes in one day, love the show. Would be nice if the episodes are in the 30 min range, cant get enough.

just give it your best chance . I would suggest : Be awfully honest and clear about why u visit those guys . Once that is cleared for them , i beleive its pretty easy to discuss and share with those owners / offer bids or whatever . Life is worth taking little risks for which we need to be prepared .

You'll enjoy it. I've got some awesome deals on a few old cars because I was the first one to ask. I'm still looking for that certain AAR Cuda. My buddies dad had one up until two years ago. He bought it used in 1975 for 1500 dollars. Some people get all the luck lol

GETUP AND GO it makes it a lot easier when you’re with a tv show, I’d imagine people are a lot more willing to show off their stuff when you have cameras

Oh yes Man . That charger for less than 10,000 is a steal . Put a crater engine or a solid old 388 / 440 ( if the mounts fit ) and there u go /a check the suspensions /drive train ( i would put a new set of suspension + breaks of course ) . Solid body , nice original color .

I'm a Chevy Guy-but would Build that 70 Torino GT FOR SURE! My Uncle Had a 70 Torino King Cobra with a 429 SCJ. It had a Blk Shaker Hood. He Said it got 5mpg!! Have a Couple of Pics of it in My GrandMa's Yard.

Ranchero - nice model . There is one form 74 ( squire with wood on the sides ) for sale nearby where i live in Belgium . In very decent shape , all green + wood mixed colors and a 350 in it . Its only 15,000 $ - still for sale . If i had the bucks , i would have bought it long ago . I would mostly make a serious change in the cabin ( seats cover material / dash clusters / floor cover / etc... ) because its not a nice or exciting stock interior .

The Mc Laren Mustang was only labelled as Mc Laren. The transformation was done by American Sunroof Corporation (A.S.C.) nobody could do better convertible roofs in that time.

Tom, I really enjoyed this episode as it was laid back and natural. Very well done finding these barns and fields of dreams and the characters that own them. Super! Regards Stephen.

I would restore that 64 falcon - i am crazy for those round taillights of the 60's ford . Just love them

Oh wow, that's a memory, Sorry just paused it on the ford falcon futura... I own'd a 64 Falcon, 260 V8 two barrel with a three on the tree as my first car. Ate oil like it was going out of style. Pretty much stop, fill the oil and check the gas... BUT, she never left me stranded... Great car!

I always hate when I get to the end of the episode.

Hey Lawrence, I have an idea. Buy that Charger. The end of a 1/4 mile and the episode will give you the same feeling a 318 in it. Sadly. :) Ouch.

My first car was a 70 Torino GT with a 351 Cleveland.

I knew that I had seen the Dodge Charger before, since I drove by the car a lot going to Kansas for dirt track racing!

That Charger was a 72, that was a steal, nice car

That is a 2nd Generation Blazer. I have a first Generation K5.

The charger is exceptional

That old broad was a riot! Genuine car gal with a cracking sense of humour. She's seen it all I reckon.

Hate it when people have better "junk" than my good stuff.

I knew an old guy in Caldwell Texas who had a bunch of old cars on his place back in the 90's.. The one that always caught my eye was a mid 70's Cadillac El Camino he had just sitting in a pasture on his property.. I've no clue if the car is still there or even if the fellow who owned it is even still alive. But it would definitely be worth checking out if you're ever in that area..

Great episode! Really enjoyed this one. That gal sure knows what she has on the lot. Would love to hear her stories from the dragstrip. That '69 blown Camaro on her shirt is not something you see a woman wearing very often! :)

Nothing beats my first 2 cars I bought for $200.00 a 65 cadillac calias coupe and a base model 69 Lincoln continental coupe cadillac fired up and drove away. Replaced the spark plugs on the Lincoln and scored big! Both are long gone, miss that Cadillac though in 2002 mind you!

So jealous of how well cars hold up in those nice dry southern states- you guys have cars made 50 years ago with less underbody rust than my 6 year old truck.

2wd blazers are very rare. i last seen one sell 30K Restored

That MG Midget had at least one rostyle wheel from an A-Series Opel Manta, complete with the centre cap with the separate Opel lightning badge which is a rare and very hard-to-find part now...

I had a 70 type NW Torino and bought a 70 GT for $60 at a police auction as a parts car. The parts car ended up being too good to part out so I just swapped a few parts like the disc brakes and sold it for $1,000. This was back in about 1998 I was 18 and wish I would have kept both cars the type NW is worth big money now it was the Oregon orange color I guess that's a harder color to find from what people tell me

318 to 360 swap, pay attention to the balancing, the harmonic balancer and little weights on the torque converter are different. 318 is internally balanced, 360 is externally balanced. On the 360, the harmonic balancer has a part scooped out, and there are tiny weights on the torque converter.

I'd keep the 318 and clean her up good. That Charger would make a great cruiser for the summertime.

I'd try to bundle that Charger, the Blazer, & the Ford van. I'm a MoPar fan, so the Charger gets back on the road 1st, my dad had a '76 Blazer when I was a kid so that'd be next, & the Ford...well I'd flip it. Some Ford nut might buy it, shove a 302, 5-spd., & a 9" rear in it, a pair of seats, & then hold on for dear life.

in the mid 1980s my father bought a 1970 VG Valiant two door 770 318 motor off an old guy who had it since new my father paid $ 2000 for it only had 25,000 miles on the clock when i turned 18 my father gave it to me i drove it a few years till some woman jumped the red light and t boned me pushed the rear quarter panel and window into back seat and passenger door that was the end of it

I would've definitely gotten the Charger

out in texas there are cars, just not that many, this dodge though is nice, off to nother good start ford el camino but not a real one a 40's ford pick up and 57 t-bird port hole verson too and a hotrodded pontiac but with a cool 2 key system, you know just a vw bug drag car with a ford engine in it hay some british tin always good to see, 79' mgb last few years they were sold in the usa and a falcon, and to end on just a great chevy blazer 1st gen yep i'm liking taxes more and more

Isn't that Blazer a second generation? Remember the 72 and back style. Also those fiberglass fenders are the pre runner style, for big travel desert racing.
