I’ve replaced an actuator and recharged it but it’s still takes a long time for it to get cold :(

Hi! 2014 dodge avenger SE here. AC takes a while to cool. In fact, only cools when at high speeds such as the expressway. Idling, such as at a light, AC blows air, not cold air, just air. There is enough refrigerant so that is out the of the picture. What next? Thank you in advance!

Hi! What is the refrigerant pressure on high and low side when car is idling? Can you check if radiator fan kicks in when you turn on the AC?

Sir I have a 2014 se as well. The ac stop cooling all of sudden, the compressor is not engaging. Low side is 30 high 0.

What should i do if my car blows regular air when driving but being idle blows cold air?

Most likely there is a blockage in ac line, or there is too much refrigerant, so with higher rpms pressure goes too high and ac cuts off.

How do I know if my compressor is bad? I have a 2012 dodge avenger? Its blowing but only hot air

Try to follow troubleshooting procedure in the video. Start with making sure there is enough refrigerant in the system.

My ac only blows cold at night and when at red light plus only the passenger side blows cold

Sounds like driver side bland motor is not working, that's why it is blowing only on passenger side. As for troubleshooting your ac as a first step you might want to check refrigerant pressure (high and low side) to make sure it is within specs.

@@justdoityourselfit is, but the thing is when it’s hot outside it blows hot, and when driving it also blows hot only at night it blows cold sometimes

With variable displacement compressor there is no relay.
