Defend Our Democracy calls for more arrests in VBS Bank collapse
Defend Our Democracy National Committee member Nicole Fritz says even though they applaud the NPA and the Hawks for securing the conviction of former VBS Mutual Bank chairperson Tshifhiwa Matodzi, more people must be held accountable.
He was handed an effective 15 years in jail after pleading guilty to 33 charges, including corruption, fraud, money laundering and racketeering, which led to the institution's 2018 collapse.

Start by Ramaphosa.
Everybody must be arrested, even if they turned their head and looked the other way, even if they only took 1 cent. They and their families must stripped of all assets, they must be reduced to the same poverty stricken state as the victims. When Matodzi comes out of jail, the 15 year joke, he must have nothing. If, as he claims, Malema and Shivambu are guilty of taking bribes, they must pay back every cent, with interest, before being jailed.
Useless NPA and police.. it took 10years to convict a person who pleaded guilty..!!!

15 years for each charge.
Separate criminal courts should be set up to deal speedily with these types of crime where the public purse has been looted. Cannot be that they wait in current court queue for finalisation while affected people suffer and give up hope of ever seeing justice done.
