@@MohamedAhmed-cz8mo dang 5 pages a day, not to discourage anyone but I think focusing on quality is important as well, even half of that would be alot and you would still finish quickly but with alot more mastery than if youd done 5

There was a story of an old woman who was Muslim, she was around her 70’s, however could not read, understand neither write Arabic. However her desire to learn Arabic never stopped. However, she used to listen oftentimes. One day she requested her son to teach her, she started by listening to the name of Allah and how to write it. Moreover, she started to learn the Arabic alphabet and progress was rising day by day, month by month and year by year, until by the age of 75, she memorised the WHOLE Quran! She now had passed away (May Allah have mercy on her) Ameen, and her two sons are now great scholars of Islam.

O Allah! There is nothing easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if it be Your Will. I would also encourage you to do all your work in the morning because our prophet (PBUH) asked Allah to bless his ummah in the morning.

@@ummabdulrahmaan8827 Ameen sister, I agree with you. Learning it younger is definitely a blessing that Allah SWT wills for whom he chooses but don’t give up. Hifdh doesn’t have an expiry date and it’s never good to rush it anyway. Especially if you want a strong memorisation that lasts for life. May Allah SWT make it easy for you and all the others making the intention to memorise the Qur’an for his sake. Allah SWT rewards every effort Alhamdulilah!

You dont even need an hour a day. Start with 30 min a day! Or even 15. But just start somewhere. May Allah help you and everyone who wants to learn the Quran. Ameen Tip: After salah (usually fajr or isha because I have more time), I just read and repeat one aya, and when I'm familiar with it I go to the next aya. It takes very little time out of your day. And usually at the end of the week I have a small surah memorized

Watching this documentary a few months ago really kick-started the importance of reciting and learning and memorizing and implementing the Book of Allaah in my life. Although I cannot sit in a setting portrayed in this video, that is, in a Qur'an school due to work and my age, I try to memorize a page a week and I recite back to my teacher and constantly revise. This has truly changed my life. Many Muslims are missing out by not acquainting themselves with the Qur'an.

Mashallah this channel has motivated me, on my memorisation,am a 19 year-old girl in Kenya,I started my journey last year,it's been hard alhamdullah,I have been having eye problems on and off and this had lead me to having surgery on both my eyes ,but alhamdullah I thank Allah am still memorising although am passing through tough times memorising. Insha'Allah ,may Allah make it for me and the whole ummah who are memorising. Amiin.😊

Starting my journey this Sunday in sha Allah from Surah An-Nas.

How blessed are these young brothers to have the quran in their hearts. I am trying to memorize the quran and I am finding it so difficult. All the years of my youth I have wasted chasing the Dunya like a fool, when my time could have been utilised studying and memorising the quran. Now in my 40s my brain is flooded with bills/kids/ worldy affairs, and finding it so frustrating to find time to memorise the book of Allah. My advise to all the young brothers out there, please do not waste your youth as it will go in a flash and you have nothing to show for it, nothing in this world will give you satisfaction in you heart as the sukoon and peace you will get reading and studying the quran, Please make dua that I do not leave this world without the quran in my heart.

You're right! Idk how the da'wa is in other western countries but the Muslims in Germany have slept for 50 years. We have not even translated the kutub al sitta or important fiqh or aqida books in Germany. The converts have it particularly hard. The Mosques in most cases, teach only aqida, fiqh or quran etc. in the founder's language of the mosque like turkish or arabic not in German. The only thing that is translated in the most cases is the khutba. May Allah azwajal bring the dawa forward Amin ya rabb.. 🤲

My brothers and sisters. Please please make dua for me to memorise the Quran with ease. I am a young mom with 3 young children but I want to start the memorisation of Quran now before it's too late. For people who are starting this journey just remember that finishing the memorisation of the Quran is the first bit and its actually easy when you look back at. The hard bit is when you leave the place your studying you will see how difficult it is preserving it telling you this from my own experience

Update

As the many in this comment section I as well have started my haifza journey, I have only completed one Juz , I wake early in the night to practice and memorize and filled my day with the Quran and I ask whoever reads this to keep me in there dua and may Allah make all of us the people the Quran and you are never late to start reciting the Quran , and Allah is the inspire of faith so work hard , again and again and remember Allah you on got to where you are because of Him .

O Allah! There is nothing easy except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if it be Your Will. I would also encourage you to do all your work in the morning because our prophet (PBUH) asked Allah to bless his ummah in the morning.

‏For those who want to memorize the Qur’an: Reduce the number of verses or pages you memorize each day and more than the repetition and keep the continuity and keep asking for forgiveness

I'm a teen who has been with a problem with memorising th Qur'an for a long time. The problem comes when I memorize a new Surah and it doesn't stay for long I become sad and I don't feel like continuing, Subhaanallah. But I pray to Allah to make this easier for myself and everybody else, In Shaa Allah. Please pray for me. Salaamu alaikum

You need to repeat again and again each surah which you memorized otherwise you will forget easily

I'm starting to memorise Quran on this January 2023. May Allah help me in this journey and give me the strength, will and commitment to achieve it. Inshaallah. 5th January 2023.

I watched this documentary with my children the day that it came out and found it beyond inspiring. It was life changing. It made me determined that I would push and encourage my children to achieve this beautiful honour by the permission of Allaah aza wa jaal. Alhamdullilah 1 month ago my 10 year old daughter finished, and my son is almost half way (may allaah bless and protect them both! Aameen). Not only that, I have found something change within myself with my consistency of reading, my memorising, love and attachment to Qu'ran in my own life walhamdullilah. This really was a profound documentary walhamdullilah. I pray that the makers of this documentary and all of those involved share in the reward! بارك الله فيكم for a wonderful documentary. May Allaah accept from you your efforts, and may he grant us all the honour of seeing his face! Aameen

This is wallahi the Best documentary i have watched so far. And i keep on repeating this video, I don't even know why, but it's just a Blessing from Allah. SubhanAllah. May Allah make it easy for me and everyone else who's trying to memorize the entire holy Qur'an. Aameen ya rabb.

On KZread plenty of vids on how to learn to read Arabic. Master 1 letter a day. Learn how to pronounce the words correctly. In 30 days, you will be more or less ready. Then you can start memorising small ayahs. They also had sisters doing the hifd program I believe. Ustadh Abdulahad mentioned it in podcast of naseeha sessions if I remember correctly.

Don't give up sis, if you are determined and sincere Allah will easen it for you. I am a revert sister and in the space of about 8 years I memorised the whole Quran alhamdulillah without a teacher (although I studied tajweed and did read sometimes to different people, but I made my own program) and I had 3 young children... So it is possible for anyone, as long as you are sincere and determined and make dou'a to Allah. BTW I also studied Arabic and am now fluent in Arabic, alhamdulillah. it is easier to memorise quran when u r good in Arabic, so I recommend to also study Arabic. I also personally know an old American revert sister who memorised the Quran in different qira'aat and is a famous tajweed teacher...
