I like it it has the magic of Disney but without it feeling like it having any Disney input this is why RTD and Murray Gold are both geniuses I know people have an opinion on certain parts of the script it’s not my place to say but I still rate this episode a full 5 star it has taken me to the times of being a kid again before being a miserable 21 year old 😂 if doctor who wasn’t on I would have been supping pints in the pub. Completely reunited the family experience for me me, my mum and dad sitting around the tv together like it’s 2005 all over again I was 3 when I first watched doctor who I have never forgotten how I felt the nostalgia is overwhelming to some extent

Fantastic!

It’s an awesome piece of music, very John Williams-esk like something from E.T. Or Indiana Jones. I Love the new interior though I feel the coffee machine is a bit gimmicky and should be on the food dispenser not the control console, but otherwise it’s fantastic ❤❤

already so much better than anything we got in the Chibnall era. music has been the lifeblood of doctor who for as long as i can remember, and that died the second Chibnall took over. SO glad that RTD has brought back Murray Gold to help bring the show back to life.

@@friendlyotaku9525 Bro be fr 💀 The only stand out from Chibnall’s era was 13’s theme. I’ll admit, that’s a great piece, but considering that it’s the theme of the MAIN CHARACTER just shows they accomplished only the bare minimum. Can you name any other song from that era? Or at LEAST hum a single tune other than the Doctor’s theme? I’m willing to bet you can’t, because they don’t exist. Murray Gold, on the other hand, wrote motifs on top of motifs. Every villain had a DISTINCT theme, as was the case for every companion, and every Doctor, and practically every character. That is something that was completely missing in the Chibnall Era. That is not an opinion; it’s a fact that musical motifs (apart from the Doctor’s theme) were practically non-existent when Chris Chibnall was show runner. I can hum Clara’s theme anytime, Donna’s theme is super recognizable, Rose’s theme was INCREDIBLE, but if you ask me to recall any musical cue that was consistent with ANY character OTHER THAN the Doctor, I, along with everyone else, would draw a complete blank. No, the music from the Chibnall Era was not fantastic. It had music consistent for a cheap American cable show. Murray Gold, on the other hand, wrote music that rivals iconic themes from John Williams or Alan Silvestri.

​@@wesrumbelow2844Akinola made themes for The TARDIS, Daleks, Cybermen, The Master, The Flux, Fugitive Doctor, Time Lords, etc. Murray is the superior composer (Duh) but Segun did make themes for different characters and i have no problem remembering them.
