Interesting, they work the same as both the 12 inch Product Enterprises and character options Dalek. If I had the money back in 2006 when they were released I would have bought the Red Dalek as I wasn't too fond of the 12 Inch versions, as they were all based on The Daleks: Invasion of Earth 2150AD versions. And now you know why I hate the Moffat re-designs so much 😉

Wow not to fond of the 12inch movie dalek there the best version true to the original with beautiful colours bright red and the proper gold colour and the original voice from the movie. Just a shame they didn't do the silver and blue in the 12 inch instead of the black and gold. All the new design daleks are just awful so i will agree with you on the Moffat re-designs i just don't get how it passed to go ahead with it why i feel dr who has gone right down with poor choices they made for the show .However the 8 inch are ok but for me there just to small and break easily

It would be fun if they bring out one with a smoke machine component one day, and an interaction chip (like Furby’s) so if you can collect them all they could perform a scene. Maybe day eh?

I have the 12inch version from the movie and the 12 inch version from the tv show from the david tennant era. but i do like the 8 inch. But there to much to buy as on Ebay they want over £150 and i think there not worth what they want for them they even want around £80 or more not working its a rip off so please tell me what did you pay for your one

I paid £50 for mine from a seller at a Toy Fair. It was minted and never used. So I was very very lucky!

@@drawingjackrabbit401 I think that's a fair price and right for what it is but what people want on ebay for them is just greed if you ask me. When most of them don't even work and think they want almost £100 saying these are rare and there not. As every time i see them on ebay they come up all the time and same of them have been relisted because they ask so much for them nobody will buy them. I am more interested in the 12 inch movie daleks but again they want £200. to £250. one day i will get some but not paying out silly money

Is it diecast or plastic?
