Russell T Davies posted on social media saying it’s the interior for the 14th and 15th doctor and the doctor says in the trailer for the next episode that the tardis is able to self repair itself, similar to the eleventh hour when the 11th doctor wasn’t allowed in the tardis until it was fully repaired.

Okay so mine and a few other whovians theories about the whole “let it go” thing is; A joke about how previous male presenting time lords have always struggled to let go of the doctor BUT Jodie’s doctor welcomes it with open arms. Another one is that its been a known fact since classic who that Female presenting time lords are more powerful and have more control. As shown by The Rani when she tells the doctor he’s stuck with his regeneration but she can change her appearance if she wants and when Romana I regenerated into Romana II she took the face of Princess Astra willingly because she wanted to. Also shown by River in Let’s Kill Hitler when she tells Rory to be quiet while she focuses on a dress size! Also when she chooses to give up all her remaining regenerations to save The Doctor’s life! I like both and think both apply but people are torn between

That reveal is like when your kid hits puberty.

I know people are complaining about “woke”, but it works here. I feel like timelord are naturally gender fluid and Rose is transgender, so it kind of makes sense. And even then, it’s a nice representation of timelord within rose and her identity. It’s done really well in this

I agree with the gender thing but I felt like the whole thing about “male-presenting” timelords was very heavy handed. Like if female-presenting time lords are so smart why didn’t she “let it go” the first time 😅

Absolute favourite part was donna fully ready to drop kick that furry wee fuck for calling rose weird😭😭😂😂

IN MY OPINION... This is the most doctor who has felt like doctor who in YEARS! 15 years sounds too long because its been sooner since she was last in it, 15 years was just her series BBC had the reveal come later, RTD originally wanted it to be revealed in the shed where every time Rose looked away it would've looked at the camera and said something evil. How upset Doctor got with Donna in the ship completely gave me the same vibe of how upset he got about Wilf being stuck in the Chamber in End of Time The Activation words just remind me of the Winter Soldier activation words in Civil War The reversal really bugged me watching it live, how the hell did everything just fix... I love how we're one episode into the new RTD era and he's already back to teasing a arc with this "boss" line I bet David Tennant wasn't acting when he saw the new console, he probably was channelling his inner child instead

Yea, for sure! Loved it! It was 15 years since her series aired....which is mad! I think the later reveal works well, I was sold on the cute thing for so long. Definitely gave me vibes of that too, felt like a similar situation really. Winter Soldier is what came to my mind too. It is a bit odd that it just got all fixed...but hey, it's weird doctor magic lol Planting that seed early! I heard that he asked if he could just run around the Tardis so they let him lol

@@kaano1992 Yes, but the episodes were filmed one year before his death so maybe he'll be in, maybe!

Part of me has wanted to get into Dr. Who, but I feel like there's too much backstory to just jump into whatever show is currently running. Meep would probably be cuter in 2D. His 3D model is kinda creepy and that's before he bared his teeth.

I do get what you mean, I feel like when they introduce a new Doctor is not a bad place to start though as it's kind of a soft reboot in a way. I thought it was kinda cute...the hands were very creepy!

Just letting you know the last 11 seconds of MoochTV's Star Beast compilation is pretty anti-trans. It's post-credits so most people missed it.

I do hope the 'gender' thing is not going to be an ongoing theme. It's currently a high profile topic and something RTD is pushing but the Doctor should be above it really, in the Meep gender scene it would have been more accurate for the Doctor to not have used gender terms at all and some other character make that assumption. Here it didn't overshadow the story and I didn't mind it really but I do worry if RTD is going to keep on pushing these contentious minority issues rather than focusing on producing a good sci-fi show.

I've lost that hope already to be honest. The show has always had it's political takes but they were well packaged and actually made you think. But those days are gone and now the message is the solution to the problem by allegory.

Sounds like a you problem sometimes shows can go of someone’s taste in coming seasons and that’s natural no one is forcing you to watch it so I think it’s best or if you don’t want it if you think it’s gonna have a negative impact in your daily life

@@manticore5733 agree on there certain instances where they could do better but at the end of the day if the message wasent for you don’t worry much to about it we know rtd loves this sort of thing as well he done it couple of times in his previous time as show runner but if it every now and then I could go passed it but if it’s every episode I can sort of see why people would moan about it

I really appreciate you are watching doctor who but i think they lost me when Peter Capaldi doctor left and then show gets downhill i try to gave a chance to jodie Whittaker but i just can't see it and i try this episode and more unnecessary woke sh** is really disappointing to see once i really love this show and now i can't stand to watch one episode without feeling 🤢 why they have to keep ruining great shows 🤬

I’ve heard all this happy hype before! Time will tell about the popularity of this member berries reprieve WHO…but I’m not feeling it myself. It’s too smug and agenda heavy. I hope Ncuti Gatwa has his own take on this when he gets into the TARDIS but the writing needs to be better and not preachy! I’m not hopeful but, like most cynics, I always want to be proved wrong! So far only Star Trek: Picard Season 3 has given me that beautiful surprise!
