To be fair, i found the episode pretty enjoyable to begin with. Up until the barren planet with the 'Kind woman'. Spoon scene? ehh i guess 'Real' material instead of imagined material could make sense. and then we get to 2046 or whatever year it was and they get the the DNA results. Sure kinda cool scene, not as great as the start but kinda gripped me. and then the ending just lost me. The doctor can control the tardis with a whistle... sutek said he knew the tardis inside out why didnt he know that the whistle could activate the laser. The doctor tries to neuter Sutek with the laser. and then ruby just clips the lead on him and they take him for a walk. Why didnt sutek use his mind powers to completely incompacitate them like he did just moments ago with the doctor? over all i think this would've made an alright episode for like mid season but with how hyped up sutekh was it felt like a let down as a finale episode. Over all i have enjoy parts of this season but it could be a lot better. (also cry count at 4 for this episode. didnt bother me too much early in the season but it was just annoying this episode)

Great video! The only thing I disagreed with was your comments on Ruby's mum not telling the father about the baby. I admit that it wasn't morally the right thing to do, but she was 15 and probably terrified, so I think she deserves some sympathy there. I still don't like her mum though. I hate the fact that her mum just says 'I thought about finding you', like that's okay because even though she didn't she 'thought about it'. I hate that Ruby just accepts this, she doesn't care that her mum never tried to reconnect with her. So much wasted conflict and character development, not just in regards to Ruby and her mum, but in the season in general.
