    @Potato You know who’s responsible for Dr Strange not being together to Christine and literally causing the end of the universe. God and The Matrix themselves. This is why I believe We don’t have free will because The Universe itself is full of pure evil and consciously sadistic forces that prosper and get away with ruining people’s lives for no reason. They constantly makes LIFE difficult and pure evil forces are pulling our strings, that’s why when we hope for a different outcomes, everything repeats again for the worst and disappointment, so we suffer for the Universe’s and Pure evil forces’ entertainment and they get a good laugh because they all are consciously pure evil for the sake of it. They needlessly toy with our lives, sensations, surroundings, emotions, thoughts, actions, circumstances, factors, and all the above for no good reason in secretive ways hidden in plain site and they are unstoppable and there is nothing we can do about it. More like this Strange has realised (albeit too late to fix anything) that he went too far in his desperation to keep his Christine alive & his arrogance and thirst for power ultimately costed him everything while all that power still failed to save her. So even though The Watcher choose to ignore his pleas for help before, Strange ultimately can’t fully blame him for the destruction caused by his own choices. I think the message from this episode is deep. If you have the ability time travel you can never actually change your past - changing the past so you can get what you can will destroy everything you know. It tells us to move on from whatever event happened in the past. Learn and forget don’t live in the past.

  • @JDog2656

    @JDog2656

    11 ай бұрын

    I disagree. You don’t forget and you shouldn’t. The future is built on the past and often it comes back to you in one form or another. It’s about going forward and taking it with you. The trick is, sometimes to go forward, we have to go back. Because sometimes, not often, you may just get something back.

    I just love this episode. The colours, the imaginative visuals, the fact they don't just fix his mistake in the end, even the most obvious step where he is consumed by all the creatures he's consumed and for a moment appears so demon like the woman he brought back to life thinks she's in hell. This was even better to me than the movie itself.

    This Dr. Strange was not humbled by the loose of his hands and by extention the hing he was the most proud of. He DID loose something worse, he lost the source of his happiness. But it is not as humbling as it is the loosing of his life as a Doctor. He then goes and defeats Doramamu, I think that this Strange is even more arrogant than the one we know. Since he lost his love, but kept his pride.

    Another thing I noticed is we see all the colors of the infinity stones in this episode even though he only possesses the time stone. Blue when he’s finally able to manipulate space and save Christine. Red is the reality that is collapsing. At first his rays are yellow as he is using his mind to keep reality from collapsing, then they go orange as he opens his soul to beg the Watcher for help. And finally ends up in purple as a reminder of his hunger for power that led his entire universe to collapse.
