I have actually had a ganglion cyst smashed , by a doctor , with a Physician's Desk Reference book . Hurt like hell , it has never come back. I was in high school at the time and I am 75 years old now. Guess it works .

I have one that comes back a couple weeks after I smash it. My Grandmother called it a Bible cyst because they used the family Bible to smash them with.

He doesn't recommend smashing it because if you don't, he gets to do an easy and needless $7500 surgery to do the same job that a book can do.

Yep, I imagine if the tissue holding the cyst doesn’t give in and release the stuff. It’ll experiance hard core strain and hurt.

Yep. Had 2 (same spot) and both times they went down by themselves. And stayed down. Do they just get absorbed or what?! Weird.

the usual reasons why hitting someone hard in the wrist might be bad: -bleeding -ligament damage -light fracturing of the bone It might be safer to just use a razor blade with some rubbing alcohol, but I'm also not a doctor.

Just push as HARD as you possibly can on it with your thumb and massage until it feels tingly and a little numb. Gone in a few minutes.

If you have an ganglion cyst what yo can do is wear an glove on hand which can isolate that area and you can take some rock salt and some carom seeds and heat it in pan and put it in an cloth and use that on ganglion cyst do it 2 times and take some oil tree and mix little bit of coconut oil and firmly heat it up, use it to massage your ganglion seed.
