Houston Yu I actually look at this video in another light. I was working on a Hollywood film set and for the life of me, I thought I had great coworkers even had a friend till she found out that particular show booked me in for more days than her. My friend turned on me and threw stuff at me. I broke in tears and I thought I would never do that till I had a production assistant barricade me from getting into a set. I pushed him eventhough it didn’t hurt like how my friend threw things at me but when I realized what happened. I was so ashamed. I did feel ashamed for the production assistant but then he went to brag about his failed start up career and how he half asses his patents to investors. So apologizing was no more a priority on my list. But reflecting, I was sad to see myself so arrogant and entitled. I was lucky there was only a witness but no footage of me unlike the latter. From my understanding, she has moved on from this ordeal, has become a family doctor not a prestigious neuro surgeon, got married to a prosecutor and I’m sure she has learned a lot. She does have to refrain from taking full responsibility on camera or writing it because despite paying for damages, she could still get sued. At one point in time, I was definitely against her but she didn’t kill anyone. I’m glad she was an example because people even like me screw up but we still provide jobs, we still give back to the community. I’m sure she has learned. It’s not like she’s ELIZABETH Holmes.

Abc news should be ashamed to assist someone who is the agressor as a victim through the metodeological questioning that softens this case, just because she is a woman. I totally loose respect for anyone with this kind of double standard and moral. Imagine if this doctor was male and uber driver female, and same thing happened. He would had his licence revoked, as this behaviour is 100% innapropriate. As a doctor, sure their humans, but also a role model we trust our life @, and keeps our depest secrets related to our personal info and health issues. I would never trust someone who could act like this. Its one thing to have a small isolated case of verbal assault, or 1 non dangerous hit, and retreat. This shows a character that puts my trust as well as anyones trust on line. Trust is something I consider important. Espeacially when you have a work as a doctor.

I've seen men hauled off in cuffs and thrown in jail by cops who did nothing. There's always a handful of witnesses telling the cops that shes lying but The cops always claim when they get a call for assault that it's required that somebody goes to jail. I've seen men running away hands over their head trying to protect themselves from alcohol and bottles being thrown at him from a woman. The man never lays a finger on her but when the cops come she says he hit her and it's automatic jail for the night.

I posted this originally in August of 2021, and it seems to have disappeared from this KZread comment thread. I Never heard anything about this occurrence until about 2021 approximately. I am not making excuses for her behavior, however, clearly in the video she was drunk, and she under the influence of alcohol. There are people who behaviors are greatly influence by alcohol. (I don't drink personal choice) It should be taken into consideration that this was according to original post on KZread this occured 8 years ago or more approximately. Therefore, When this actually happened She said her father was in the hospital and she broke up with her boyfriend. She apologized to the driver directly for her behavior. She apologized on national platforms, and several times on television telecast, and she asked for forgiveness for her behavior. She immediately paid for the damages to the driver vehicle. She lost her job She was threaten She has been under public scrutiny and criticism since this incident actually occured. And now it's about 7 to 8 years later, approximately, therefore she seemed to have highly matured in her behavior. I have seen and we ALL HAVE have seen, and heard of Much worse behavior in stories and seen much worse behavior from others including online creators, celebrities, and others etc. and they apologized and seemed to have been able to fully move on without having their character placed in a perpetual judgment of others. Therefore, Please consider thinking more positively, and open minded towards a Second chance for this woman. She was much younger, and think about all of nonsense that college people do when they are young sometimes and if it was on online. I think that it time to allow her to move on with her Life without this alcohol induced mistake looming, again There is so much worse behavior observed online in comparison. This Woman has been demonized for this single mistake, she needs be able to move on Live her own Life with her family and friends WITHOUT continually being reminded and shamed, she took responsibility for her behavior and actions, and repeatedly apologized again and again. It’s time to let this Woman Live her Life, with her Family, Friends without constant public backlash year after year. Imagine if this a relative of yours would you be just as judgmental. Also you do realize that there are more women enrolled in medical schools than men nowdays? They don't need affirmative action to get in. If you are mad that white men aren't enrolling or getting into medical schools then maybe you guys just aren't qualified enough or just aren't interested in medicine. It's been shown that South Asians/East Asians need to get higher scores on the MCAT than white people to get into med schools, regardless of gender. Just because she is a woman or Indian doesn't mean she got in on an affirmative action program.

Actually PTSD is more of a spectrum than people tend to think. Most people have childhood trauma in some form even if it’s more mild than trauma that others have faced. For instance I only realized recently how much of my negative habits and responses to stress were formed during middle school and high school when I was bullied. Not excusing her behavior but I’d be pretty traumatized if I sobered up to a video like that of myself going viral haha.

Sure. There can be all levels of trauma. But post traumatic stress disorder still requires a number of symptoms for it to be diagnosed. It was the way this doctor threw out that word while smiling. It appeared like she was exaggerating, which, on top of everything she has done, is just embarrassing for her. There are people with actual PTSD (not just trauma) for whom the minimization of the seriousness of this disorder is extremely harmful.
