People be hating he teaches Linux, but you actually need to know a few to use Docker effectively. On a different note, I was using WSL on VS Code and those commands were tremendously helpful coming from a Windows background. Sure, the video isn't properly named, but it's not useless.

Then u can decide if the course is good for you. But the course is for beginners, it does not cover all the Docker features and I think it's still relevant for beginners and u will be able to work with Docker with confidence after finishing it. Then if it isn't enough just keep learning by books. I think you could not get enough experience completing any course. Only books and real experience will make u a pro. I'm taking a programming course through a college and we just started lectures on Docker yesterday. There were a lot of terms to digest and I had no idea what was referring to what or what was even being talked about. You've broken down the concepts into easy to understand language. Object Oriented Programming at it's basic can be thought of abstracting or representing real world things in code known as objects. An object knows things and does things. For example, if you were creating a game with a character. Your character would know things such as it's name, age, height and do things such as speak or walk.

Thank you for this video! I was setting servers on multi VMs and two raspberry pi boards but after seeing this, I can simply run everything on a single raspberry pi 4. I don't even need to set them up as a cluster.

Really good video for beginners. You point people in the right direction. But a bit confusing: I was expecting to learn Docker and I ended up learning Linux. You better should have made Linux knowledge a requirement (and make a video about that?) and talk about Docker more!

In my humble opinion, this is the absolute best method for selling online learning courses. I get to try roughly 1/5th of course. Determine if I like the content, style, and teacher. Then if I buy it, there are no surprises. In this case, I loved the beginning content of the course and went to the website to learn about the full course. The course is only $20 to learn a crazy valuable basic engineering skill. To conclude. I purchased the course and am enjoying. Well done Mosh and keep up the good work.

Best intro I've found so far. Very good explanations with visuals. Thanks. Maybe one clarification around 17:35 could be that an image can be run on any other machine running Docker - as long as that other machine contains the same Kernel.

Disappointing. Nicely presented, but shows absolute basics and then, for the second half, goes to present basics of using Linux. At the beginning it says "Ultimate docker course" and promises to teach "everything" but barely scratches the surface. Edit: If you want to really learn something, better watch these. More value and less empty promises: Docker in 1 hour: kzread.info/dash/bejne/optlm7xxfK-WZto.html Docker in 3 hours - much more: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZZdhy6SnZ5bKdKg.html
