Love this show here in Toronto Canada, I tell everyone I know about. Please come back more and more. We miss you. I want to see baby a James grow up abit. I want to see Dr. Martins other child. So much to see.

Yes, I am so used to Doc Martin not smiling and being stiff. To see Martin Clunes relaxed and smiling, is strange. I wonder if it was hard for him to stay in character.

It's been wonderful entertainment. But I liked it best when he didn't have Louisa yet. Ooo, when Louisa was dating someone else, I was so jealous for the Doc's sake! My favorite episode was when Louisa had the baby. Such wonderful love emerges! I think I love Louisa as much as the Doc does! I can tell that Martin Clunes is truly a lovable, fantastic person.

Love this show. It has a calming effect and makes me imagine living in Portweynn (probably not how you spell it , but you get the idea). Funny too

When I finish watching 9 seasons I was so sad and really missed. I love that show very much and feel like doc Martin is a person that I know so closely . I wish if I could keep watching everyday .

One of my very favorite shows. I loveDoc Martin.

I love the show so much I bought the whole set 1 to 9. I believe season 10 is to be shot next year I look forward to seeing it, although they say it will be the last. This is logical because making this series 2 years apart the cast are ageing at about four times the rate of the storyline. Nevertheless, I think Portwynn needs to be quarantined because it is home to every obscure disease and infection on the planet. It's impossible to hold a party, a school concert, a wedding or a funeral or any other worthwhile event without someone catching something, having a serious accident, or collapsing from an undiagnosed illness. I don't think any child there has ever had a normal birth in hospital.

I wish this come back I'm really I really got into it took me a little long to to watch it but it was worth watching this such a good clean you know no person no nasty stuff no you know it's just very very clean thing to watch and not have to worry about it you know being cussing and and half naked or doing something that you know it's not right but this was the cleanest and the best little stories that I loved it I really really enjoyed it and it was very very good I was waiting for the next you know day to get my settling down and watching it and God bless you and God bless you all and I hope you all do start it back up cuz it is such a such a blessing 👁️👁️😁😁😁🤞🤞

My fav

I found another film with Martin in it as a different Doctor, in the same village so many back ground scenes will be familiar, but some have changed a bit, as the props have been removed. It is called: Doc Martin and the Legend of the Cloutie (2003), and quite good.

Aunt ruth! I loved her in what a girl wants.

Joe mentioned "Frasier" as being humorous, but that American sitcom (I'm from the US) doesn't come close by any means! Martin is a much much better actor and if you want to watch the pilot to the series (there are two movies) you'd have a better understanding to the talent of Martin Clunes.

I enjoy both Doc Martin and Frasier. But they shouldn't be compared because they are very different shows---and Martin Ellingham and Frasier Crane are very different characters.

Martin Clunes is far far better an actor than Kelsey Grammer. MC is a class act ... unto himself!

As Caroline said in the fifth part the comparison of English Doc Martin and the others is rather surprising. I saw all episodes of English doc and French doc but now I can definitely say that the English is the best one. Martin Clunes never smiles, he's really grumpy and it suits to the character but Thierry Lhermitte is more kind and more human. I think the English would never go well in France and the French wouldn't go well in England. It's different, for different people and mentality.

I just love love love it he's such a fantastic actor he's got such a fantastic sense of humour as Doc Martin I will go out of my way make sure I watch it and such a beautiful place where they make it
