Sir, what is your experience that in life sciences or cancer biology, will they accept in Europe at the age of 49 years ! As a medical doctor, I always had a desire to do research, however the time went by and I did MD here and have been working in India in medicine. Published few clinical research papers as well....

You can apply for PhD positions. I know one person who got PhD admission and scholarship at the age of 58. So it is possible. In western countries they typically don’t bother too much about age. You can do from any country where you find some research in this area is going on. Some countries like Germany have specific fellowships for PhD students. Hello Dr. Ganguli, I am pondering between an MBA and a PhD degree in Europe business school. What would be your opinion on them? I am veering towards a PhD but looking at how cheap MBA is in Europe( eg. Norway and Germany are cheaper compared to others) it gives me some doubts. If you got offer you can go. Some other opportunities may open elsewhere but a PhD in Europe is a good opportunity

I have 8 good publication overview and knowledge of my field but not hands on experience because in India you know research facilities are less I have knowledge but less hands experience that I am worried about.... That making me harder to take decision

@@nitesh8900 You have to certainly consider your capability and training for doing the PhD. People will judge your training based on your publications in academia.
