I'm in the same boat. My problem is that I love Robin's character, and the visual music effect she puts on the battlefield while in her ultimate. BUT, my RM, Sparkle, and Bronya are all E0 so I think the intelligent play is to work on getting more E or an S for them or my DD's but...I love having a lot of characters! I'm so broke on gems though I probably can't get Robin even if I spend every wish trying...

I'm pretty sure Ruan Mei will be much much better for me, especially now that the game seems to be shifting to a focus on breaking effect, but I feel I'll still go for Robin just because of her character

I'm pulling for Topaz. Though if I have the extra jades at the end of the banner I might go for Robin too. I already have FX's e1 and Clara's e2, so there's nothing on the next banner for me.

I’m pulling for Robin because I always wish I had a second Ruan Mei - I love dual dps teams

Going for Robin and Jade, and need to try for Topaz's E1 if i have any jades left after Robin - FUA and DoT are my two teams and I go all in for them

Trying to delude myself into going for topaz knowing I don’t have a single 5* support

Robin looks really gorgeous so I really wanted her. But I think Imma wait for her rerun as I already have RM (at E1), and Sparkle, I need Fu Xuan for Sustain, and most importantly, Firefly is coming soon. I mean looking at the lea- I mean dreamscape, her animations are looking absolutely sick, propelling her to Must Pull Status for me. I think if it weren’t for Firefly, I’d pick up Robin though.

I have Bronya E2S1 and Ruan Mei. I’ll pull a few times on Robin’s banner, but I think its best to save for Firefly and Mei E1.

Still taking my time in the 1st half of 2.2 deciding if I want Robin or Topaz LC or just save for Firefly E0S1 since I have Ruan Mei, Sparkle and Bronya. Definitely needed this vid fr 😁👍

I got e1 ruan mei + no follow up team + Acheron who doesn't use harmony + i plan to go for the break meta + already have bronya for action advance + my dot teamcomp works well with either ruan mei or robin, if you don't know if you should pull or not just take a look at your account and what you plan to get in the future, i for example skiped sparkle too since for me bronya was good enough, I didn't have any of the characters sparkle would benefit the most but i did have the characters bronya was the best with so i just sticked with i already had

Robin is gonna be so good for blade jingliu but its so unnecesary but i want. I also want boothill and firefly. Im so conflicted.

I already e0s0 robin , e0s0 sparkle but i will still pull ruan mei because it will allow me to have more flexibility in team building because the foundation of team building are supports .

I already have Sparkle, Bronya and E2 Ruan Mei... but I'm also investing a lot in FUA characters, so I kind of have to pull for Robin... I have Topaz, Ratio, Aventurine, Blade, Jing Yuan and even Clara recently... and am very interested in Jade (and of course Firefly, but f*ck me already...). In an ideal world, I would really like to be able to get Topaz LC on top of getting Robin... but unless I'm being VERY lucky, not sure it will happen :(. This is rough!

I wasn’t going to get her until I realized how good she will be with Jingliu, that will help free up my Ruan Mei for my other teams and upcoming Firefly 🔥🔥🔥

RUAN MEI ALL THE WAY she helped my account more than any character I pulled and I have most meta characters

Here I am running an Acheron, Pela, SW, FX (team 1) and Jingliu, RM, Bronya, HuoHuo (team 2) I think it's time for me to make a follow-up team with Jade and Topaz. Problem is that I don't have enough pulls if I also try to get aventurine now (much worse if I try to get Robin) :(

@@MapleYum Really. I found FUA so cheap and efficient compared to building hypercarry teams. My first 5* was Kafka though so farming for Dot/FUA has been amazing. I planned on pulling for Ratio but he was free so it all just worked out.

@@provaboth12345 I doubt it. She's the FUA enabler/support, like Kafka for Dot. Weak when they came out but now a staple for their teams. They just get stronger as more units release or new content like PF where FUA units start to shine (Herta/Himeko). I don't think we'll see someone like her for a very long time imo

As someone who has Ruan Mei and Sparkle built up, and recently picked up a Bronya, I'll probably skip on Robin. I mostly run a FUA team, and Auto is my friend. ...That said, Robin seems pretty cracked with FUA. I guess I have to decide if Robin is going to be more beneficial than Jade, considering I already have Ruan Mei (and Jing Yuan for Erudition) fully built. Fingers crossed Jade is after Robin, so I can just wait for info about her to release and I can decide there. ...That said again, I only just got Aventurine so my f2p account has no jades whatsoever to spend. 🤣

Jade is looking to be phase 2 of 2.3 so there is more than enough time to wait tbh That being said I agree on skipping robin, even though I am torn between and have a FUA team setup (she would benefit a ton) I just feel like she's someone to pick up on a rerun if there arent already better characters out there by time that happens

Should I get Robin if I have all the characters for the follow-up team + E0S1 Ruan Mei? I'm thinking no, though I like to play fua, and I have no funds (+ no incentive) for Robin's lc.

tbh robin is not a bad character to have, she just has lower value if you have ruan mei and sparkle/bronya on your account, she's not bad to have just not worth if you already have S tier supports

Luocha is recommended in Robin team. Luocha comeback lol

Only reason im considering is cause I have a very well built ratio and aventurine but the fact I have no topaz + I need to get robin is to expensive to invest in rn especially when I want boothill and sam more

I ended up taking the quality over quantity route on my account. And what i mean by that is eidolons. Acheron is e6, aventurine is e2, jingliu is e1. Since i wasnt whaling eidolons at the time of sparkle’s banner, i didnt e2 her. Im definitely getting e1 ruan mei at minimum.

I only play dual DPS so there's no competition I need both. Hypercarry is not fun for me

As a player who has all 5star supports,all i can say is:ruan mei is good for dots n acheron but robin is way better for crit based dps(weirdly enough robin seems to be made for pure fiction she has insane synergy w herta)

So Robin is perfect for FuA teams... Ruan Mei seems better for DoT teams ... I don't use either 🤣 I have E1 Bronya & E0 Sparkle as 5* Harmonies. FuXuan, Luocha & E2 Geppie as sustains. My teams are built around E2S1 DHIL, E2S1 Acheron & E0S1 Jingliu for MoC Also have JingYuan, Clara, Himeko & Herta built for PF. My most wanted char right now is the future Nihility partner for Acheron. However I was planning to get maybe Firefly along the way to complete my elemental coverage for MoC. Is Ruan Mei the best choice my situation? 😅

Yup, 100% remember that in each patch they give you 10 free pulls. So, you'll pretty much be able to save a lot if you get Robin early

There is a nihility support coming that will be a complete game changer. I would rather get that since I have sparkle ruin mei ting and bronya. Now let’s hope I get jade and firefly

I have every other Harmony in the game and frankly I don't see a need for Robin. I am personally skipping her right now and I will pick up topaz instead because I skipped her on her first run. Maybe I pick Robin up on her rerun but I wouldn't need to see some more follow-up. Dps's out first for me to make that jump I think. As it stands right now, if you don't have enough follow-up DPS then you are technically missing out a portion of Robin's kit, so I think she's a pass for me. For context, I have Dr. Ratio like everyone else and I have an E4 Clara and an adventurine, but I don't believe that's enough to really justify Robin although I Am kind of curious for her as far as matching up with Clara, who is my personal favorite character in the game. I can't wait to have her e6

Yes for DOT teams Robin is I believe on par or just slightly below ruan mei and I do mean slightly and while Robin is going to have energy problems in hypercarry teams her S1 + vonwaq + ERR can solve it albiet her S1 or S5 Cogs will be necessary to have her ult have consistent uptime But her energy issue is is solved by a 3* LC and relic changes her positives far outweigh that one negative and since you only have 2 buffers both being hypercarry I’d say robin is 100% worth for you since your DOT team and future FuA team will get a huge buff from her while still being very good in hypercarry 👍

Really wha your looking at is she's gonna be great for dot teams, definitely worth it if you plan on using them, sparkle an bronya are best in hypercarry, you can use them elsewhere bu it's harder, think of it this way, robin is a team wide bronya (more complex than tha) bu wha makes a character li her different is why bronya an sparkle are best in hypercarry an ruan Mei an robin best in dual DPS/team DPS type set ups, so definitely if you like her design too, you will not regret it on the power side of things as she's really strong for dual DPS teams li dot, an when it comes to her differences between her an ruan Mei if your wondering, she you hab to be more careful abou bu robin comes wi everything guaranteed already no habn to speck into more action delay if you want, really there equal an so only cases robin isn as useful is in break teams where the characters kits are based around break besides tha there equal basically (obviously fua robin is better)

If you are running topaz with ratio she NEEDS e1s1 but if your aventurine is e0s1 then you only need e0s1 topaz but thats still a very heavy investment Topaz as a hypercarry is imo incredibly mid she was made to be a sub-dps buffer not a hypercarry so her numbers are not good enough solo without crazy supports and/or e1s1 If you need DPS boothill and firefly are back to back and both are looking incredibly strong so for me personally I say skip out on the FuA team for now especially if you don’t have ratio built since you’ll need to pull for topaz, robin , and topaz LC while having to build 3 characters and banking on jade being good is to risky for the investment needed and just pull for boothill since harmony TB is free, easy to build, and incredibly strong plus you have ruan mei just slot in any sustain or gallagher for lesser sustain but much more dmg and thats a complete team already 👍

Thing to consider: break meta is almost here. New game mode which heavily relies on fast break is upon us. And. RM haven't got a rerun. And she's not getting it in 2.2. BUT. In 2.3, when Firefly (who most likely needs to be E1S1) with built-in weakness break efficiency releases... who do you think will be on the rerun banner? To get a huge money for HoYo because she's a must pull? I think RM will be there. 2 must pull units for break meta. So save your jades boys, girls or whoever you are if you want to have a pleasant time while break meta is going. Most likely RM + Firefly + Harmblazer will be the same thing for new endgame content as HimErta is for Pure Fiction now. You just nuke the first part and then somehow add score in the second to get 3*. And aslo don't forget Jade arrives just a little bit later and she will make HimErta absolutely future-proof with huge buffs (though Firefly could be a huge buff for PF too depending on how exactly her Fire vulnerability implementation works, it just might be HimErta will turn to mono Fire Himeko). Again, if both Firefly and Jade kits won't change much from those I saw in my dream last week. So yeah, please do consider.

I love my FUA team (Topaz/Ratio/Aventurine). I disagree and there's no room for Robin. Jade get her spot. I actually have Topaz E1 by accident so I'm getting her LC instead then saving. Got Sparkle and rarely use her so no more supports for me.

I needed Robin mainly for my 2nd MOC teams.. I actually pulled her on accident hunting a LC for Topaz

She is still the best. There is literally one character in the game who doesn't want what she offers and that is Clara. On the flip side, if you don't have follow-up characters then a portion of Robin's kit is severely diminished. I don't think this is even close to be honest with that context in mind.

​@@solace4366you can still use stuff outside of break an really unless the character is specifically designed around break an has unique mechanics wi it, the difference between ruan Mei an robin is so negligible it doesn matter, think of it this way, they use different means to do similar things, ruan Mei is really good wi her buffs bu wi certain parts specifically the break action delay part, it's part of her kit bu you hab to speck into it via her gear to make her useful fo tha, an robin has the reverse, her kit you get everything wi her immediately, bu you need to play wi constant checks on how the battle is, so both are difficult to use if you wanna fully utilize them the best bu in different ways, an since 90% of our teams these 2 would be used in are not break super unique an strong teams an rather jus multiple dps teams, robin an ruan mei are basically equal an when it comes down to it where there better they cancel each other out cause there both so universally strong elsewhere an really there's always multiple meta stuff so robin still has her place

I have Topaz and obviously Ratio and it would be a logic decision to get both Aventurine and Robin but they are so annoying. For real, the follow up team is the most annoying team, sound, design, etc... Got Topaz hoping to build the perfect follow up team and now that it is possible I'm so disappointed.

I mean a stellar jade is a stellar jade. With new charas like Firefly and Jade coming next patch, some sacrifices have to be made, and for people who have their Ruan Mei, their Sparkle, their Tingyun, etc, skipping Robin for other charas might be a viable choice.
