He who seeks the Truth will find it. Everyone in Heaven will see reality the same way, even if they died without formally knowing the strict truth, because they sought the truth and followed it as far as they could. God will correct anyone who will be corrected.

Am I the only orthodox Christian that find this verse very interesting: Luke 9:49-50: And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for u. I believe that the Love of God and mercy of God is not to be put in a box, but all who seek shall find. This verse Jesus is saying that even if the person is not one of you "the desciples" he is still following Jesus. Though I believe the orthodox doctrine is the true one.

agreed. Anyone can be saved by the grace of God. But is the fullness of faith in orthodoxy im lutheran and i might truely think its the closest to the fullness tho some eccuminical counsils er abit iffy and the 7th kinda rigged.

yeah, I find myself agreeing with this interpretation as well. The Lord is merciful, and so I think that if anyone genuinely comes to him with an open heart, even if they have doctrinal heresies that are of less importance than the extremely important doctrines (ie, Trinity, Incarnation, monotheism, resurrection of Christ, if anyone denies these I would say they are not Christian), then I don't see why Christ would not see this and have mercy on them. But then again, I think it's entirely dependent on the heart, intention, and how that intention is put into action. Even if someone was received orthodox, but only had the intention of conversion for the sake of political opinion, or the fact that it's "based", I think Christ would actually incline himself more to, say, a protestant who was deeply in love with and adored Christ. This may seem obvious, but as somebody whose just begun my process of conversion as of recently, I see a lot of online polemics of protestantism and Catholicism. I have no problem with debates and critiques of these traditions at all, and that's what actually helped me in finding out more about Orthodoxy. However, it gets bad when you see Christian brothers literally cursing each other because of schism. Christ told us to bless our enemies, not curse them. So, we are distinct from the other denominations, and yes we have the truth in it's fullness, but I still know that these other Christians will still, by God's grace, be in Heaven.

Personally, I'm not a fan of saying that members of any of the three denominations are any more or less saved than the others(with the exception perhaps of a few Protestant splinter groups). The Protestants think they are doing it best, the Catholics think they're doing it best, and the Orthodox all think they're doing it the best. But are we not all Christians, despite our many differences?

We are Christians in some way , but this doesn't mean that we belive the right thing , you better read more about other belives and how were they made.I mean protestants were just people that were making they're own rules , and Catholics don't belive in Mary , The Jesus's Mom. I am an Orthodox and I strongly think this is the right way to God!

All God's plans go exactly as he wants them. Don't put God In a box Bojan. He's the commander and sustainer of all things. All those who call on Christ and run the race to the end will be saved. If you believe in Jesus, truely, the real Jesus, and his real sacrifice, confessing your sins and confessing Jesus as Lord, you will be saved.

Lords plan works perfectly fine once you really really really wanna know , you are sincere and do not stop it will lead back to orthodoxy .

Hi Bojan, I have a question I remember when you sayed that the Catholics do not recive the chalice, but only the concecrated host. Does this mean that the faithfull who are recieving Holy Communion are recieving half of the sacrament? Because Comunion is the bread and the wine the Body and Blood of Christ.

Jon Cassa I’m a Roman Catholic and it is taught in Catholicism that blood is only received traditionally for the clergy and magisterium. But whether you receive just body or just blood, both are complete species.

I'm a convert to Catholicism. In the past the chalice was reserved for priests. But today, outside of flu season, many lay Catholics (myself included) receive the Eucharist under both species. However, every particle of the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinty of Christ. This is because Christ is Risen! We're not consuming his dead flesh but his resurrected body.

Actually the chalice was withheld from the laity precisely in response to the heretical notion that one MUST receive the Eucharist under both species i.e. Utraquism. Many lay Catholics prior to that decision chose only to receive the Host.

What do you mean by Solace scriptura?

Sola Scriptura - the teaching from 16th century that the Bible is the sole authority on Christian religion, as opposed to Church tradition.

Oprosti, nisam shvatio. Jesi li rekao da moraš biti pravoslavac da se spasiš, ali da to ne znači da će samo pravoslavci biti u raju? Zbunjen sam... S druge strane, zanima me postoji li i drukčije mišljenje među pravoslavcima, jer kod nas je, na primjer, jako dugo bilo mišljenje Extra Ecclesiam nulla salus (Izvan Crkve nema spasenja - misli se na Katoličku Crkvu), dok nakon II. vatikanskog koncila većina teologa i svećenika ipak prihvaća mogućnost da će i mnogi nekatolici, pa čak i nekršćani biti spašeni, što sve pomalo relativizira. Između ove dvije grupe postoji nesuglasica još uvijek. Kako je to kod vas? Ipak, da naglasim, naravno da se uvijek predlaže da se ipak prijeđe na katoličku vjeru, ali se oko samog pitanja spasenja ne slažu. Pozdrav iz Hrvatske!

Can Muslims be saved?

Lord Jesus Christ revealed to us the Mystery of our salvation through His Body-The Church. Anyone who believes in Him knows what to do. Those who don't beleve in Him (e.g. the Muslims) will be left to His mercy, however God will not be unjust for anyone.

The "music" is driving me nuts! It doesn't even sound like part of the video, but rather like something is playing on a TV in another room. 👎👎

As a Catholic, I believe that it is possible for non-Catholics can be saved. Even non-Christians, in God's mercy, can be saved. However, everyone in heaven is Catholic. So C.S. Lewis died an Anglican; he is now Catholic.

Exactly this! We know that the Church is the way to go, whether you're Catholic or Orthodox, just like the ark of Noah. It's possible that people outside the ark were also saved by the Grace of God. We can't put limits to God's mercy. God is not a programmed robot.

@@j.k.6865 Well yes and no. "Outside the Church there is no salvation." Non-Christians are nonetheless saved through the Church, if only in a mysterious way known only to God. Which is why I don't expect to find Muslims, Buddhists, or even Baptists in heaven. They are all saved through the Ark of Peter by the blood of Christ.

@@carissstewart3211 Yes. What I meant is that I expect to see Eastern Orthodox in heaven with us, even some Oriental Orthodox as well, they both have apostolic successions, close doctrines to ours... But the others probably not (though we can't be sure of some exceptions). But in the end, it will be despite the schisms, not because of them. I really hope we will meet our Orthodox brothers there!

@@j.k.6865 God is merciful. No one is going to hell on a technicality. And there is no schism in heaven. I imagine that right now St. Leo IX and Michael I Cerularius are embracing one another.
