In this video, I talk about whether you need a college or bachelor's degree to teach English in Vietnam. My answer is YES, you need a degree to teach English here in Vietnam. I have also mentioned a few more other requirements that you need to have prior to coming out here in Vietnam for an English teaching job. If you are a non-native, then you need to show an English language proficiency test score (TOEIC test). Hope this helps 🙏

Hi Sujoy I have a TESOL, and also how easy is it to get a teaching job in Vietnam. Since I am from India which city would be best for me to get the job? I have a very neutral accent since I have been working with US clients. And is IELTS important since I am planning to reach vietnam by 31st May

Thanks for reaching out to me. To be honest, there are more teachers applying for teaching roles than ever due to certain non-english requirements from certain schools. I suggest skip Saigon, and look out for some small school and centers in HaNoi. You may like to check out Language Link.
