    Both really great switches for sure. There always will be a build that calls for the carrots and another that calls for a tangie, so no loser switches here!

    The massive hole isn't just for lights to pass through opaque housing's it also makes the switch SMD compatible, lots of people overlook this and I think it should be mentioned for newer builders so they don't buy a switch that doesn't fit there PCB.

    @@thamirahamed812 Surface Mount Diode, basically the led isn’t flush with the pcb so switches without the big hole like the tangerines will not fit on a board that had SMD leds

    I love this series and really hope you continue it! Unfortunately the best content in this hobby doesn't always get the most clicks. But you got points from me for these videos. If you ever do another one, I NEED you to do Drop Holy Pandas VS Aflion Pandas. I've heard people say that after a long spring swap, the Aflions are better. Just a video idea im passing to you bc i dont want to spend $80 on drop holy pandas lmao

    The C3 tangies are super smooth; I have the 67g in my QK65 BUT they are most definitely more of a clack then a thocc which i had no idea before investing the money on them a year ago.

    Honestly, any super smooth switch will have a clackier sound profile. It's the material used in the switch to make it smooth that tends to give the switch a higher pitch.

    Have you heard of the Bald75v3? I was thinking of doing that build with tangerines and 9009 Keycaps. Do tangerines sound as good with plastic cases as they do with aluminum? As well as Tangerines

    i know this is a lot of work but can you put those switches in different board/plate to see how it sound to next time? like brass/aluminum plate compare to polycarbamate plate and plastic case compare to aluminum case for those switch?

    i honestly like both of these switches and looked at both of these while making my own custom keyboard. i prefer the sound of the tangerines but I think I would go with the carrots because 1. they are so much cheaper and easy to find 2. the tangerines are just too heavy for me. If there was a tangerine switch at around 40-50 g actuation then it would be a no brainer.

    Can you review an episode on penyu switches (the meaning is turtle switch in malay.) it is made by Malaysia. It is a linear switch and similar to the Frankenswitch black cherry pie.

    Man, I can't get over how much I love TS Carrots. I think their sound profile is more muted and not as grating on the ears over a long period of time. I'm also a caveman and I like the heavier weight. Just my preference :)
