Do you have practice wool for needle felting? 🐑

Do you have practice wool? 🐑
One type of wool I always make sure I'll never run out of is my practice wool. Namely: natural white carded Corriedale and Shetland batts and slivers. 🤍
Practice wool is not a technical or official term. It's just how I refer to my go-to wool whenever I'm testing a new idea, or learning a new technique or building up the core of a sculpture. 🧐
I choose natural white wool simply because I like that the colour does not limit what I can create out of it. However, these carded batts and slivers come in lots of colours. 🌈
In the video, you can see what's left of a Perendale batt in Sandstone colour and of a natural grey carded Jacob as well.
If I were to give an advice to my beginner needle felter self about 3 years ago, it would be this:
"𝙏𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙤𝙡 (𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨) 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙜𝙤-𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙤𝙡!" ✨
Okay, I would definitely say more on the subject of wool, but this would be the very first thing. 😉

Where do you buy that wool from ... .... The only thing I can consider practice wool ( in the face that I have a lot of it ) is a off white roving that I use for core wool
