an ol time Cajun favorite is to take fish ,grind it into flakes ,mix with onions white or yellow and green type , and shredded potatoes , add seasoning and eggs and flour , form into balls or better , patties , but i never thought about mixxing in some shredded cabbage , this is pure genius !!!! we also make into balls , lightly fry to harden them up , and slow cook in a tomato gravy , and eat over rice or pasta !!! while i am waiting for my yellow ,green and spaghetti squash to grow , and stringbeans , tomatoes and cucumbers to name a few and a wide variety of peppers ,sweet and hot , , i still have some cabbage ,carrots , assorted greens and turnips left over from the winter in my garden , i am about to pull it all up , now You have given me a few ideas to make some awesome and delicious meals with my remains ! as much as You enjoy cooking , if You have never had Your own garden , You really are missing out . i have been a semi to pure organic garden for a couple of decades now , the flavor of stuff you grow is sooooooooooooooooooooo mmmmmmmmmmmuch better than what is in the stores !!! ... i suggest if at the very least , grow in containers , You wont regret it !!! ....
