This was highly educational. The most creative way I’ve ever seen to cook cabbage. Interesting that you added tomato paste twice in different ways. Interesting that the cooking consumed all the milk inside the cabbage opening (my fave part was when you flipped it). The end result resembles Asian spring rolls. Time consuming and absolutely worth it! You are light years advanced. I could never cook like you. You could cater anything for me!

Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. How do you clean the cabbage, mushroom and parsley before using them? For how long the rice has to be cooked?

Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. These look delicious! That first recipe reminds me of a dish my Polish cousins made, but I remember they added ground beef to the filling. They called them "gwumkies" --no idea of the actual spelling. 😄

I’m watching this video in Venice, Florida USA

My mom used to make holubtsi with a rice filling (no beef). She used half a cabbage leaf, rolled them, and baked them in a roaster with a nice tomato sauce. Served with sour cream, they were tiny and so delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipes. I will be trying all of them! Also, your video presentation is such a delight - music that isn't overpowering and distracting, beautiful close-ups of preparation, technique and the completed dish at serving. Outstanding!

@@adamthompson7170 I am Ukrainian. Both sets of grandparents are Ukrainian. My mother's mother made a similar baked holubtsi but used ground beef, sauteed onions and garlic filling. Covered with tomato sauce. My father's mother made rice holubtsi that was simmered on the stove. Used rice, sauteed onions, and a ham bone. Mix uncooked rice with the onions,and garlic. Place the older and imperfect leaves on the bottom of the pot, cover with half the saurkraut and add the ham bone. Place rolled up holubtsi on top in layers. Add remainder of sauce. Cover with large cabbage leaves. Weigh down with a plate. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.

Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Looks delicious! The Ukrainians and Polish people make a version of that. In English it's Cabbage Rolls. In Ukrainian it's Голубці and pronounced Holubtsi. They can be veggie or meat.

I hate cabbage when it's cooked except in Borsht but these recipes have made me want to try them they look so good especially the pancake one. With the economy the way it is meat and fish are expensive but I could see these as a substitute regularly. Great video thank you

I’ve watched all of your videos and they were delicious. I had just about all of them or some variation of them. When I was a young man I was stationed in Germany in the Air Force and I met a lot of beautiful frauliens and they would take me home to meet their families and of course they fed me fantastically. That’’s why I learned to speak German. I’m almost 80 now and a day never goes by that I reminisce and wish I held onto one of them, but the food was Great .

I make stuffed cabbage rolls but the way you do it is so much easier and I like how the leaves come off so much easier. Didn’t know you could cook it on the stovetop. Thought it had to be he oven. Thanks for showing this

Sautéed garlic first, add the sauce and then added to the cabbage,and you can also add bell peppers sauté with garlic first and then add the sauce just julienne the the peppers,,tutorial was awesome tthank you loved it ,I just Learned a new recipe, thank you again loved it Zoe

Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. Salam (Peace) -

I learned to slice away the thickness of the stem after boiling, taking a slice off the top and bottom so you can keep more leaf as part of the pocket. I like how she used the bowl.

The first dish reminded me so much of Polish glumkey with one or 2 alterations (no mushrooms or tomato paste in the filling, cooked rice & raw ground beef & covered in tomato juice instead). I'm willing to try this version as I love all the ingredients used. And I'm so grateful for the tutorial on how to wrap my blanched cabbage leaves. I usually give up on rolling them half way thru & just start layering. The second dish is similar to potatoes latkes, again with a few tweaks. Thx for the great vid.

@@ewapaul5091 Thanks for the correct spelling. I took mine from the internet since I didn't know how to spell it. My aunt taught me to speak Polish but not how to write it. But most importantly she taught me how to cook Polish. 👍
